Riverwalk Golf Club
About
A collaborative effort by Ted Robinson Sr. and his son has resulted in a most scenic championship layout. The championship 18 meanders through mature eucalyptus trees, tall palms, and majestic oaks. Sparkling ponds contrast with the dozens of white sand bunkers and the emerald green, Bermuda grass fairways.

9th Hole Mission Photo submitted by canyonman59 on 12/06/2012
Great course
Course is in very good condition great staff . Great layout . Very fun course . Would recommend 10/10
To expensive
Loud snd half of the back nine atre in bad shape. Bunkers are rock hard.
Construction next door makes it hard to stay focused.
Yikes
First time playing here. Course is in pretty terrible shape. Tee boxes shaggy, fairways bare and muddy or long where there is grass. I'm honestly shocked they're open and charging what they're charging. The greens were receptive and rolled well, but needed to be rolled.
If you don't mind moving your ball to nearby grass when you find a bare spot (which you will on every hole) it's playable.
Course has deteriorated beyond recognition
I have played this course a number of times in the past; I last played a few years ago. The course condition rendered me speechless! Bare dirt in the middle of fairways and bunkers with roots, were just the beginning. The pace of play was unbearable, and marshals were missing in action. It is way over-priced. If they would invest in a bit of maintenance, they could charge more because the location is great for visitors to the city. I would never play there again under the dire conditions.
Meh
The course is in terrible shape and the pace of play is ridiculously slow. I played on a weekday in the afternoon. There was no starter and no one to give out carts. Also, the staff did not bother to inform us there was a private event on the golf course on the day we booked. There were up to 12 people waiting on every tee. This course is going condo and the staff/management is clearly checked out.
One of the best courses are played in San Diego
Friendly staff, beautiful fairways and smooth greens. What else can you ask for
Slow as molasses
I booked a tee-time last week. Unfortunately no one bothered to contact me before or at check-in that they booked a scramble right in front of us. It took 3 hrs to play 9 holes and the last group was a 5-some. UGH! No communication. It's a lost skill for too many golf courses lately.
meh
the greens were SO bumpy and one fast another slow... matching the pace of play- agree with the pros - slow golf s_____
Price not equal to course conditions
I teed off at 0550, so pace of play was great.
Course was in need of adequate maintenance. Specifically the fairways. Shaggy , bald , and dead spots.
Greens were well kept. Speedy and smooth. Easy to read.
On the turn it was noticeable how backed up the course was. Too many tee times not enough time. For the price one of the cheapest and reasonably convenient location but does not translate to course value.
I would only play again if one of the first 5 tee times.
Good deal but slow play
I have not played this course for like four years. Got a great deal at Teeoff on a Friday. The pace of play was very slow because there were 30 in a group ahead of us. It took us five hours to finish. It’s better than some of municipal course in SD, but I won’t pay full price on this as the course was not as pristine as it used to be. I would play again if I get a good deal.
Beaty in the city
Wonderful scenery, beautiful holes and great looking greens
