Riverwalk Golf Club

About
A collaborative effort by Ted Robinson Sr. and his son has resulted in a most scenic championship layout. The championship 18 meanders through mature eucalyptus trees, tall palms, and majestic oaks. Sparkling ponds contrast with the dozens of white sand bunkers and the emerald green, Bermuda grass fairways.

9th Hole Mission Photo submitted by canyonman59 on 12/06/2012
Really improved - devilish greens
Course conditions have improved greatly. Greens were faster than I've seen before. Fun to play again.
Nice place
My son and I had a great time! The course was great - especially the greens. The scenery was excellent given what we are used to - we’re from Arizona.
The snack bar food was excellent!
Only comment - we had to combine our groups because of pace of play. We could see two groups ahead of us we’re causing the issue but never saw it being addressed.
Greens were in excellent condition.
Bunkers were in good condition
We skipped hole 10 to pass a 4some with novice players.
Saturday play
I enjoy it. We tee off at 6 am, we arrived at 5:30 am expecting to hit the range a little bit. We had to request to staff to hit some. Gentleman opened the machine and we were able to practice for about 15 mins. Would be good to have it open before to allow early tee times a little warm up. Overall good experience, good course conditions.
Great value & unique character
Hit up this course on a last second work trip to San Diego. Course had some rough patches in the fairways, but the greens were pretty decent. I enjoyed the challenge of different club selection choices and strategy, plus holes going in different directions so the wind changes your shot. First round of the year and shot an 82 here. I’ll likely play here again when traveling to San Diego!
Fantastic Condition right now (APR’24)
First timer here. Friendly welcome from staff. Proactive Starter ensured no wasted slots and paired up players efficiently. Course presently in fantastic condition (April 24). Greens impeccable. Bunkers well raked, with plentiful rakes present. Greenkeeper seen repairing pitch marks on greens. Great layout with water featuring on 11/18 holes. A couple of real picturesque shots to be hade. Pace of play great (07:10 tee time). 3hr 35min midweek. Highly recommended and WILL return.
Very nice course except for bunkers
Bunkers continue to be terrible. Can't they be raked to keep them playable?
