Palm Beach National Golf Course

I could do without the party atmosphere at this place, personally can't stand country music and to have it blaring at the range all day is annoying. As is having speakers on every cart so guests can stream music to the annoyance of those there to play golf. Let me clear my throat during someone's backswing and I get the stink eye but for some reason loud music doesn't seem to bother these same people. Either you're here to play golf or your not, which brings me to another point. Because this course expends a lot of effort promoting a party atmosphere it leaves much to be desired for those wanting to be serious about their golf game. This place is as close to my home as any other local course but if it weren't for the fact that I get a low price from time to time on GolfNow I wouldn't come here at all. Then there's the "rum shot" festivities - they drive around offering free shots of rum, great, but I don't drink so asked if I could get a bottled water or something instead and am soundly rejected. Maybe you have to be drunk to not notice everything else. Oh, and finally, the course was in good shape overall.

Got early tee time. I put pace of play fair: explain- front 9 was good; started at 6:45 and finished somewhere around nine. Had 2 older guys ahead of me(no problem) got to #10 and they are waiting for something( not teeing off). Low and behold looked ahead and not one but TWO groups of 4 where there that were not on front 9. I dont go to a course to be in a hurry but if groups are only playing 9 holes; stay with front nine so it wont mess up the order of things. It was that way rest of the round. Waiting waiting etc. As for the greens- rolled real fast because the where HARD; true is another story- have good grass but are hard packedrippled and somewhat bumpy; have a good putt going and might hope right or left🤔 Fairways hard and packed. Will pay extra next time and go to North Palm Beach G C.

Fun course to play with very friendly staff. Range ensured the slow group ahead picked up their pace. Greens and tee boxes in good shape. Fairways recently were punched, course maintenance can always be expected this time of year.

2nd time we play this course and it back itself up. Great conditions greens are fast and rolling true. Little bit of weeds but overall can not complain…

First time I played this course. For $50 the investment was worth it. Fairways were dry but it has been 90+ and have had little rain. Greens were in decent shape for this time of year. Not sure I’d make a 45 minute drive again as an average course.

I arrived about an hour early in a bucket of balls Stretched out in by accident or coincident. I will pay it up with a guy from my hometown in Worcester Mass.. we had a great time courses in great condition and the greens are fast just the way I like it I will definitely go back.

You’re an idiot if you don’t play here or don’t enjoy it. It’s the best bang for your buck around. And the staff is the best around. Never had a bad time here

Last year I played this course and there was a couple of people that gave out Rum shots on the 3rd hole which is a Par 3. Overall the course was in pretty good shape and I’m sure I’ll play it next year on my annual waist to Florida.
