Atlantic National Golf Club

I wish the greens were a little faster, but rolled true. Also they have to keep it like this for summer to protect them. Lot of picturesque holes and helpful staff. Maintenance was making a lot of rounds to keep the course in top shape!

The only complaint I have is with the starter. He needs to wise up. First tee was wide open. We were a twosome ready to go. There was another twosome that were there waiting (came up after us) that had a tee time before us. In truth, the starter could have sent us out before they showed up. That twosome was sent out before us but we're taking their good old time. The starter should have sent us out right after that twosome, as the next groups weren't ready. Instead, he sent two foursomes out before us. The foursomes were deadly slow. Thankfully a smart ranger saw this and arranged for us to play ahead of the foursomes on the second hole. When we got to the third hole (a par 3) that foursome let us play through. Now we were where we should have been from the beginning. The rest of play was excellent. No one in front or begging us. Bottom line get a smarter starter. The course was in very good condition as were most greens.

Friendly staff, very changelling course. Long and hard par 3's. This is a very nice place to play.

Really enjoyed the wide open fairways and the greens were in good shape ( they had been top dressed with sand that made it tricky to read)

Played in a little over 3 hours and never had to wait on the next shot.

This course continues to provide steady quality and value for the fee. It is never boring or monotonous in the layout. It’s mordant to note that it does not drain well and is impacted by the numerous water hazards throughout the course. Our group was in agreement that Atlantic National is a public course that could favorably compare with the top Palm Beach courses. As a 14 handicap this course gives me as much and more than I can handle. One can expect the greens to always be in good to excellent condition. There were a few rough patches on a couple of fairway edges in shaded areas. I can easily accept these areas as acknowledging this is a public course and not having huge financial support that wealthy clubs have. My vote is for this track delivers consistently, check it out and see if you agree.

Atlantic National is a fun course to play. Conditions are good , actually very good and it’s a nice layout. I got a great deal $29/each which was amazingly low but even at $48/each this time of year here in Florida is still good. I’d recommend it for anyone who’s local or interested

Atlantic National never disappoints. Course was in great shape. Tee boxes, fairways, greens all in great shape. Also price is right this time of year. Will return soon to play again.

Compared to when I played it three years ago, it was in much better condition. Some tea boxes were trashed. Some groups were late so we were sent out as two some and had to wait on every shot on the back

Overall the course is in good shape. Greens could be faster. They are pretty slow compared to other courses in the area. Always a fun track.
