Atlantic National Golf Club

The ground was so wet that your ball wouldn’t go anywhere. I’ll be finding somewhere else to play until it dries out otherwise usually very nice and the staff has been much more friendly this year than last year.

I and three other gentlemen reserve to play got to the pro shop greeted very nicely handled very professionally not once did the gentleman say there was a cart path only rule.

Nor did the starter when we went out and started on 10

The ranger that not once but twice interrupted our play telling us cart path only was super rude. In fact tried to block the golf cart path when we were driving across the street. He was literally sitting diagonally not moving where we had to drive around him to get through.

Quite the gentleman he was not. As far as the course they should have either only had one nine open or not sent people out where the fairway was so the greens are aerated and horrible some of the fairway looked like rough.

It was not an enjoyable experience.

I presume most of it was from weather but no mention made. no preface.

Very poorly handled in my opinion

ANGC never disappoints. Conditions were perfect, fairways, greens, course itself is always top notch. Love playing this course.

Course is in great condition!! Staff is amazing and friendly.

This course never disappoints. The condition of the course, the staff and facilities are all extremely good. I would recommend this course to anyone that asks without hesitation. Truly a great golf experience!

I wish the greens were a little faster, but rolled true. Also they have to keep it like this for summer to protect them. Lot of picturesque holes and helpful staff. Maintenance was making a lot of rounds to keep the course in top shape!

The only complaint I have is with the starter. He needs to wise up. First tee was wide open. We were a twosome ready to go. There was another twosome that were there waiting (came up after us) that had a tee time before us. In truth, the starter could have sent us out before they showed up. That twosome was sent out before us but we're taking their good old time. The starter should have sent us out right after that twosome, as the next groups weren't ready. Instead, he sent two foursomes out before us. The foursomes were deadly slow. Thankfully a smart ranger saw this and arranged for us to play ahead of the foursomes on the second hole. When we got to the third hole (a par 3) that foursome let us play through. Now we were where we should have been from the beginning. The rest of play was excellent. No one in front or begging us. Bottom line get a smarter starter. The course was in very good condition as were most greens.

Friendly staff, very changelling course. Long and hard par 3's. This is a very nice place to play.

Really enjoyed the wide open fairways and the greens were in good shape ( they had been top dressed with sand that made it tricky to read)

Played in a little over 3 hours and never had to wait on the next shot.

This course continues to provide steady quality and value for the fee. It is never boring or monotonous in the layout. It’s mordant to note that it does not drain well and is impacted by the numerous water hazards throughout the course. Our group was in agreement that Atlantic National is a public course that could favorably compare with the top Palm Beach courses. As a 14 handicap this course gives me as much and more than I can handle. One can expect the greens to always be in good to excellent condition. There were a few rough patches on a couple of fairway edges in shaded areas. I can easily accept these areas as acknowledging this is a public course and not having huge financial support that wealthy clubs have. My vote is for this track delivers consistently, check it out and see if you agree.
