Beautiful course. Very challenging front. Back nine plays easier. Greens were nice. Fairways a bit too hairy. I prefer tighter lies

I guess any review will be better if I golfed well. I sure did. This course can be cold in the morning . But the fairways are really challenging and the greens are fast and well kept. Don’t walk this course. You’ll be exhausted. Definitely cart. And wait till you get to 16 and 17. What a trip. The most unique 2 hole combo I have ever golfed. This is my 2nd time and it’s worth the drive from SF.

Played this track for the first time. It meanders through the coastal hills. A lot of elevation changes, blind shots, and trouble. Course is in early good condition and very playable.

You just can’t beat the view of the Californa coast.

This is the second time playing this course in about 6 months and sadly, the conditions have turned from average to poor. The fairways are plastered with bald spots making these "mogul" fairways even tougher. It's like hitting a good tee shot and landing in a divot. The front 9 fairways are lined with very intimidating houses where a slice or hook tee shot will most certainly hit them so hit em straight...

Bring your own GPS, field markings good but you’ll need yardage.

No cooler, so no water.. No water on the course. Snack bar closed at the turn (around 5pm). No time to go to restaurant with groups paired pretty tight. Service there wasn’t all that fast, especially with orders taken downstairs when bar is upstairs. Just not thought out well.

Don even remember seeing ball washers.

It was a beautiful day to play golf though. Interesting layout, especially the back 9.

We have always enjoyed Bodega, but this time we felt the course condition had really suffered. The greens were ok but very wet and spongy, the bunkers were very poorly maintained with very little sand and lots of weeds, we also felt some of the aprons around the greens were not very playable. It looks like they are expanding some of the false fronts so those areas were pretty inconsistent. Otherwise, the final three hole routing is always wonky and really don’t like the finishing hole. #15 would make a much better finish.

I wasn’t fond of carrying my bag for 16 and 17 as I didn’t have a strap on my bag, so I only took a couple of clubs that I thought I would use. The greens were very tough, but expected this as we were warned they were working on them. Wonderful time, will be back!
