The Links At Bodega Harbour

First time here, I was really impressed. Granted, the weather was incredible, but the course was a fun layout in very good condition. A nice mix of challenging and getable holes. Staff was friendly, had a delicious egg sandwich at the turn, look forward to returning, cheers!

Played Saturday Feb 3rd. Have played here about 30 times over the years and have never been disappointed. Play was slow for some reason this time. The course is great. It is a fun layout, no two holes are similar. The greens are very tricky. Love the rolling terrain of the fairways on the front 9. Great value for the money. Head pro and staff are really nice and accommodating. For the middle of winter, I thought the course was in pretty good shape. They made the course a littler easier over the years. Some traps were removed and some reduced in size. I love this place - see the ocean from every single hole.

Great course . Challenging at times weather was good clear almost no wind.little wet, greens were ran pretty fast I'll be back soon.

I play golf at least twice a week with 2-3 foursomes. 16 handicap, although bodega is a well kept course, it plays like two different nines. The main reason I don’t play more often is the uncertainty surrounding the weather. Played yesterday cold n windy. 49 front 45 back. Played with winter gloves n knit hat. Forecast was for mid 60’s. Not my cup of tea.

Every hole has an amazing view of the Bay and ocean. Beautiful course.

This course offers a round that can challenge all the skills. Emphasizes course management. To score well especially demands proper placement in fairways and greens. The spectacular setting alongside ocean, marshes and dunes creates an aesthetic experience. Average golfers should bring a good supply of balls.

Weather and staff were amazing. We played Best Ball because my daughter and I had not played for some time and did not want to hold up other golfers. My husband was the better golfer so normally we chose his ball to hit from.

I highly recommend this course!

Everything layout course are full green fairway to green excellent course and sand trap very soft perfect also

Best view all over course and ocean nice picture beautiful

For starters, the Links at Bodega Harbour is a phenomenal piece of land. Most holes have gorgeous ocean views, and RTJ2 did a tremendous job laying out the course so that you could see the ocean from most tees. For land and layout, this place is as good as most anywhere in the country. Sand traps were in very good shape, fairways were nice. Some of the holes are really really nice. 7 is a really nice long par 3 that's well guarded with bunkers, 15 is a downhill reachable par 5. Water does not come into play on any of the holes.

Tees were uneven at times, tee markers didn't always line up with the direction you wanted to hit, and there were some blind shots that needed more guidance than was given.I had no idea what to do on the 5th tee - the sign by the blue tees makes it look like you're supposed to keep the ball left when the hole goes right. Pin placement today was awkward, the greens are pretty big, and many of the holes were really close to the edge of the greens. Particularly on hole 2, the front of the green was pretty choppy, the fringe wasn't nice there, and maybe the hole was 3 yards on to the green. It seemed like a really weird choice. Some greens seemed faster than others, not sure if maybe I just missed a break or something, but it didn't seem consistent across the course.

There's no range, and staff wasn't particularly helpful or friendly. With some upgrades, this could be a 5 rating, but in its current state, it's between a 3 and 4.

Great staff and atmosphere. Love this course, lots of character and variety.

One of those rare days with very little wind.. course was in great shape and the sun was shinning! Couldn't ask for a better day of golf

Weather can be challenging in this part of California, but we enjoyed a perfect day which allowed us to enjoy a great course.

The course is challenging and the views are spectacular.

7:50 t time out the sun right in our eyes first two holes but after that the course was fantastic.

Definitely target golf on most holes but short enough to make that doable.

I am sure wind can be brutal but it was easy on us -

16 and 17 off track holes were a great change of pace.

The course was so gorgeous, waiting on the group ahead of us was not an issue! We loved the views from each hole, saw a variety of animals & birds. Holes 16 & 17 were a delightful surprise! The vistas were breathtaking. What a pleaaant, happy experience!!
