Woodbridge Golf Club

Golfnow alllows my sons and I to play frequently at a reduced rate. Currently course is in pretty good shape for summer. Fairways and greens a little slow. Only complaint is the height of the grass (rough) just off the fairways. Lost (and found) several balls just off fairway and took a lot of time to locate others because high grass just covered ball and were hard to locate. Layout of course is great.

So my buddies and I just played this course today, Labor Day Sept 5th. The weather was mid 90's and hot....the first 9 holes had 4 water stations....every single one was empty, couldn't get a drop of water from the coolers....the time of day was 1:00 pm in the afternoon. At the turn we all went in and told the guy in the pro shop about the lack of water....was told they were being refilled right away. The back 9 we had four water stations and guess what.....every last one was empty! Every water cooler station we came across had an empty cooler.....guess they couldn't find anyone to work this day to fill these things up. This might seem like no big deal but it is a big deal on a hot day and you can't even get one drink....

overall the course was good, just don't plan on getting a cup of water there anywhere

The overall course was in good shape and the pace of play was great. The greens were in great shape and rolled true. The only bad thing were the bunkers. The bunkers were hard and need some maintenance.

The course layout is very good - nice variety of holes. Greens are pretty big and you could have some long putts if not careful. Lots of bunkers which are in playable shape. Other than the questionable condition of the bunkers the course is in nice shape. Distance between the various tees (whites, blues, etc.) is fairly pronounced. Overall a good value for the money.

I like almost every thing about this course. Almost.

Fairways in good shape. Rough is challenging without being unfair. Greens were fantastic. Too bad I can't putt. Tee boxes in great shape. Now for the "almost:" many of the bunkers just don't have enough sand. It is easy to over shoot the par four #1. So, plan on landing your approach on the front of the green. Resist the temptation to drive the two short par 4's. You'll know which ones I am talking about when you get there.

We teed off at 2:26 and finished the front 9 at 5:15....the greens were a little rough....they let a 5 some go out in front of us so pace of play was terrible and they have no Marshalls to keep play moving

This course has some tight fairways and some tricky breaks on the greens. It is important to stay out of trouble. A bad shot will usually cost you two strokes, not just one. Greens are running pretty fast right now. Some of the bunkers need a lot of work. I got pasta salad with my club sandwich. Both were excellent.

Beautiful course, excellent layout, greens in great condition. Will be back again to play this gem of a course.

Excellent my gps didn't work on my cart #13 but other than that is was great

I play in spurts--a few times in a month, then not for a couple of months. I never cease to be amazed at how friendly these guys are in the clubhouse. They never once have acted like golf snobs. They always are upbeat and they listen to what you need or want. This course is in really good condition for a daily fee course open to the public.. Firewheel (63 holes) and Waterview are both within 10 minutes of my house, but because these guys are so easy to work with, the course in always in good shape and the rates are so reasonable, i keep coming back here. One suggestion: Let me bring my pull cart. They have a no pull cart policy. I realized there is probably a good reason for that, but when i need some exercise, i would like to golf with a pull cart rather than ride. Thanks, Woodbridge.

Course is great. Greens must have punched a few weeks ago and two are half lost / recovering. Still a great course.

Hats off to this place for getting it in great shape considering the hail that hit last week in our area. The staff is awesome and love coming here to play. The only downside is the pace of play. What should have been right at 4 hrs turned into 5. We would love to see a marshal to dictate pace of play. Other than that you can't be the price and the service from Woodbridge. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Staff is very friendly! Driving range is very good! Unfortunately, the course is in very rough shape. The greens were very poor!

A lot of rain last week so course showed some flooding damage. The course was in good shape considering, a very nice layout, the scorecard shows snap shot of each hole which is a "MUST" for first timers. For the everyday golfer, this is a very tight course, visually and tree lined. If you spray the ball around bring your old balls.

Interesting layout with large greens and more undulation than you normally see with area courses. Greens were true and fast for this time of year. More of a shotmaker course than a bomber course with trouble in front of many greens. Unfortunately I found the trouble often on a windy day combined with poor ball striking. If you're an iron player you'll like the design. Would be a fun scramble course with the opportunity for a lot of great risk/reward pin placement opportunities.

Woodbridge has held up well this wet North TX winter while many other courses have suffered. I always enjoy playing this course. The back nine always seems to play tougher than the front.

Played a dew buster round so it was cart path only for the first few holes. Tee boxes and fairways are about what I expect this time of year so no complaints there. Some bunkers were in good shape and others really wet. Greens are in great shape and rolled true and fast! The guy that checked us in was very courteous; asked us if we'd played there before and welcomed us to the course.

They announce groups due at #1 and the group on deck so there's no confusion there.

I really enjoyed this course. The free gps was great plus! The fairways are are a little slower than what I'm used to, and the greens are really challenging. If you're looking to step up your game, this course is for you.

Rather than give a lengthy bad review.

Let just say I will never play there again.

The grounds need a lot of work.

Only thing decent are the greens.

Said I missed my group to tee off with probably because it was a 3 some n they said I was joining a 2some.

Might be a great place to tell your mom to go play bridge

The staff was rude and while I was playing kept telling me to pickup play and I was being held up by the 4 some in front of me.

Drink girls was nice.

Will never play again and I live on the course. Guess Fire Wheel will get my business and the outing for my 200 employees.
