Woodbridge Golf Club
About
Woodbridge’s layout doglegs through some interesting terrain, with heavy woodlands, natural wetlands, streams, and meadows making the course scenic and fun. There are 15 doglegs in all, which makes for a tough, long 7,088 yards if you’re playing from the tips.
Woodbridge’s best feature is perfectly conditioned greens that vary in size and force you to think because of the heavy undulations.
One of the most challenging holes on the front nine is No. 5, a 429-yard par 4 that plays uphill through a tight chute of trees. The spectacular green is guarded by a waterfall on the left, bunkers to the right and rear, and a pond in the front.
On the back, No. 16 is one of the nastiest, playing over water that wraps around the green. Overhanging trees get in the way off the tee, forcing you to work the ball if the pin is tucked right or left. Rather than getting fancy, the best play here is to get it on the green and work for the two-putt par.
Getting there : From Dallas, take Hwy. 75 (Central Expressway) north to Hwy. 190 (George Bush Turnpike). Drive east to Hwy. 78, then north for 4 miles. The entrance to the subdivision is on the right, and there are signs to the course inside.

Nice layout and fairly priced
I am assuming the first review played on a weekday morning because if you play at anytime during peak hours this is one of the slowest courses in the metroplex. Weekend afternoons take 5 hrs. That being said the course is fun and is usually in great shape. Just plan on a long time on the course.
Play here when it is dry.
Played here after a heavy rain, the driving range was closed due to standing water. It was cart path only and still got a round in under 4 hours. With that being said the greens were in great shape. Also I was very impressed to see how many people were out working on the course. I will play this course again after it has a chance to dry out. I would avoid this course after a large rain, due to the fact of how low the area is that the course sits on.
Great challenging course
I have played Woodbridge multiple times. The Staff is EXTREMELY courteous and friendly. The course is in great shape and the greens roll true. It is a risk and reward course. The Grill has wonderful food at breakfast as well as there lunch specials. The grill is priced better than any other course we have played.
