About
Woodbridge’s layout doglegs through some interesting terrain, with heavy woodlands, natural wetlands, streams, and meadows making the course scenic and fun. There are 15 doglegs in all, which makes for a tough, long 7,088 yards if you’re playing from the tips.
Woodbridge’s best feature is perfectly conditioned greens that vary in size and force you to think because of the heavy undulations.
One of the most challenging holes on the front nine is No. 5, a 429-yard par 4 that plays uphill through a tight chute of trees. The spectacular green is guarded by a waterfall on the left, bunkers to the right and rear, and a pond in the front.
On the back, No. 16 is one of the nastiest, playing over water that wraps around the green. Overhanging trees get in the way off the tee, forcing you to work the ball if the pin is tucked right or left. Rather than getting fancy, the best play here is to get it on the green and work for the two-putt par.
Getting there : From Dallas, take Hwy. 75 (Central Expressway) north to Hwy. 190 (George Bush Turnpike). Drive east to Hwy. 78, then north for 4 miles. The entrance to the subdivision is on the right, and there are signs to the course inside.

Skip out on Woodbridge
Felt robbed paying $50+ to play here. Greens were in similar shape to my $25 municipal course back home. Dead spots everywhere. Like trying to putt on Lego blocks. Playing as a single, i was held up by a foursome which refused to let me play through. (While trying to beat the dark) Ended up having to pick up my ball and skip a hole just to get around them. For the price, i would try somewhere else.
Good course but needs some TLC
This course has had a lot of work done to it and I think all of it has added to the course. The next big thing that needs help is some of the greens on the back nine. 11, 12, 16, 17 have spots that are completely down to dirt and are in desperate need of re sod or re seeding. I play this course between 2-3 a month and this would be a huge plus.
Great course
Love Woodbridge. Always a challenge! Love the new clubhouse!

Woodbridge Golf Club
Overall the course is good shape. The greens are in great condition and were very fast when I played. There are a few brown spots in the fairway, but nothing that ruins a round. The starter was very friendly and gave me a few tips since I told him it had been a few years since playing at Woodbridge. The new clubhouse is open and looks great! With multiple beers on tap and a pizza oven its a nice spot for after the round.
Find another course
No course management. Staff were rude and couldn’t keep a schedule. Always overbooked and an excuse for everything. Didn’t even get a full refund. Avoid this course at all costs!!!
Terrible customer service
Constantly overbooked with rude staff, total lack of management, and poor scheduling. No regards to singles and will not give full refunds. Clearly understaffed and does not allow singles to have own carts due to overbooking. Wouldn’t recommend this course at all!
Fun Course
This was the 2nd time I’ve played this course and I have to say I really like the layout. The greens had been recently sanded so they were a little slower that I’d hoped but otherwise the course is coming in great this year.
I didn’t have any food this time but I did last time and it was amazing.
They had cart girls out on a Friday morning which is also appreciated.
This was my first time playing at Woodbridge and I had an awesome time! I played with two members, Anthony & Rick. Both were a blast to play with. The course was in good shape and the layout was awesome. Will be back!
Need some care
I was told the course was in good shape at the pro shop. It was not. I play golf all over the country and have played several of the local courses. This ranks as one of the lowest. The tee box was so hard you could not put a tee in the ground. All around the greens were like playing on concrete. Could not chip. The green are very bumpy. Would not play again for they are charging. Much nicer courses for half the price.
Not A Happy Golfer
I had a 2:08 tee time with a twosome and another single golfer. When I got to the starter he notified me that the single apparently brought someone else with him making it a foursome so they pushed me back until another single could join me instead of letting me tee off ahead of them. Needless to say it was a long day. Probably never go back there again. And there prices are outrageous now.
