About
Woodbridge’s layout doglegs through some interesting terrain, with heavy woodlands, natural wetlands, streams, and meadows making the course scenic and fun. There are 15 doglegs in all, which makes for a tough, long 7,088 yards if you’re playing from the tips.
Woodbridge’s best feature is perfectly conditioned greens that vary in size and force you to think because of the heavy undulations.
One of the most challenging holes on the front nine is No. 5, a 429-yard par 4 that plays uphill through a tight chute of trees. The spectacular green is guarded by a waterfall on the left, bunkers to the right and rear, and a pond in the front.
On the back, No. 16 is one of the nastiest, playing over water that wraps around the green. Overhanging trees get in the way off the tee, forcing you to work the ball if the pin is tucked right or left. Rather than getting fancy, the best play here is to get it on the green and work for the two-putt par.
Getting there : From Dallas, take Hwy. 75 (Central Expressway) north to Hwy. 190 (George Bush Turnpike). Drive east to Hwy. 78, then north for 4 miles. The entrance to the subdivision is on the right, and there are signs to the course inside.

Hard Winter
Woodbridge usually doesn't disappoint. I've played the course several times, and have always found it to be in really good shape, and a nice little challenge. This time I was somewhat disappointed. Fairways were in good shape for the most part, but the greens were hard and non-receptive. Certain fairways were packed and hard as well. It is winter, and the course does tend to receive quite a bit of play. Hopefully by spring they'll have it back in regular shape.
Nice course, fun clubhouse and friendly staff
We had a great time playing here. The greens were well kept, course ran on time and the staff was very friendly. The clubhouse is newly remodeled. It’s welcoming to the community and the restaurant has good food. I enjoyed a pretzel hotdog. It was an NFL Sunday and there was a good crowd hanging out to watch the game.
Always a great round
Layout is fun. Each hole a little different from the one before! Good shape! Nice practice facilities. Women are given a fair advantage!! Cart girl came around a few times! All was good!
Great course
I enjoy this course. Greens are great. There is water in front of a lot of the greens and there a lot of trees on the fairways so it’s tight. Not a lot of straight shots. Dog leg right and lefts. Tee boxes are hard but it’s Texas. Womens tees are under 5000. Great new restaurant and outdoor patio. Get out before it gets too cold
Bring Your Own Snacks‽
Friday late morning tee time, no food available at the turn. Beverage cart made 2 rounds in a 5 hr round. Makes for a long, famished day but the course was nice...
Awesome being first off
Played early with a tournament starting after. Was nice to play in under 4 hours. Course was in awesome shape this late in the summer.
Will be back soon
