Woodbridge Golf Club

I had a 2:08 tee time with a twosome and another single golfer. When I got to the starter he notified me that the single apparently brought someone else with him making it a foursome so they pushed me back until another single could join me instead of letting me tee off ahead of them. Needless to say it was a long day. Probably never go back there again. And there prices are outrageous now.

The clubhouse has had an major upgrade. The course is in the transition from dormancy. Should be really good in a week or so. The greens have a few areas that are recovering but overall we’re in very good condition. For some reason, most of the pins were placed in those still recovering areas. Several bunkers have been removed, mainly fairway bunkers, making the course waaaaay easier off the tee.

Love the new clubhouse. Tee times are way to close together. Every eight minutes and the course gets stacked up.

The newly renovated clubhouse is now open! It's really nice, has a great view overlooking three holes with good food options, and a lot of draft beers on tap. Take advantage of the Dine and Play option by signing up for the email blasts. They have removed some of the trouble from the course making it play easier than before, but still a challenge. The pace of play is still a little slow here! Mostly due to the difficulty of the course though. Overall still one of our go-to courses.

Came out in a busy Sunday but we had a great time. The staff from the cart girls to the bar are all wonderful! Shout out to Ty the bartender….great personality and a true professional. The new clubhouse is nice and the marshals keep the pace as well as the could! We will be back. Thank y’all so

I Did not play Woodbridge. I thought I made the reservation for Bear Creek in Heath Texas that’s where we went and played. How do I get my refund deposit back $22.51?

Used to play here a lot . New management took the character away from the course. Opened it up to get more players make it easier. Way too many people on course, very slow play, looking at close to 6hr round on weekend. New director of golf, no people skills huge ego. If you express a concern says we all have choices on where we play. He made my choice wont be back. I have friends that are members looking to leave.

Restaurant is great, good food if not to tired from the long day on course.

I arrived early for my tee time and found out there was a frost delay. No communication whatsoever that this had happened. I waited the 45 mins extra which should have been enough time. When we got on the course we played the first hole and we’re immediately backed up on #2 by two groups. The starter advised us that there were no Marshall’s on the course and he knew it would be slow but it was beyond awful. I quit after 3.5 hours to finish 9 holes. I won’t be back to this course and I don’t recommend playing it unless you have a good 6 hours minimum and don’t expect to play well with the stops and starts.

I have a tee-time at 2:00 and show up 25 mins early and they tell me there's been a delay all day AFTER I pay and that I will at best 30 mins behind schedule. Did not offer me a reduce rate for the wait, did not notify me before spending money, offered no remorse for the fact that I would not be able to play the last 4 holes because of the 45 min delay and terrible pace of play. Just content with letting me be dissatisfied with their product.

First 2 holes the greens don’t have a blade of grass on them. Nobody tells you that in the pro shop or online. Still charge you $50 or something like that. The guy in the club house acts like golfers are the Bane of his existence. Mats only on the range. Just a really poor experience all around.
