Cherry Island Golf Course

First time playing here. My friend and I were lucky enough to be paired up with a couple easy going golfers. The course was in decent shape, greens had some pitch marks. Two items of concern ; our tee time was at 11:26, we showed up more than 30 minutes early and had to wait for a cart right up until our tee time. The biggest disappointment was the pace of play, it took us 5 and one half hours to complete our round. We had a group of SIX in front of us !

There is a good balance between not so bad and a good challenge! One saving grace during the hot days are the shade trees over each tee box, or so it seemed. Nice touch.

Played twice in the last few weeks at CIGC and the back played very slow both times. The Marshall’s seemed totally unaware of the slow play and we’re concerned with with providing water because of the heat. ( good thing) but shouldn’t be one demential with reguardada to their reason fir being out on the course. Course was quite soggy in spots. Range and restrooms needs attention too.

Didn't realize most of the tee boxes were elevated. Sometimes difficult for a 76 yr old to f2f get up to tee box. Greens in good conditions, staff friendly.

I had a great time golfing at Cherry Island. Ben, golf course marshal, did an excellent job facilitating the pace of play and he was also easy to talk to. The course was in good shape and the green was well kept. I finished 18 holes in 4 hours.

The course is in good shape and the greens were really nice.

wish management could spend just a little more on maintenance to fairways, etc. greens okay. tee boxes a little "raggity". still love the challenge of the course.

Enjoyed another fun round at one of our favorite courses. Our cart girl, Rachel, was friendly and engaging. Billie, as usual, was fun as well! We were disappointed with the restroom closure during some construction/painting. Found a Hot Deal on GolfNow.com.
