Morgan Creek Golf and Country Club

We were told that there were lots of brown spots on fairway but that wasn't the case when we were there. Too bad the greens were recently verti cut. I like the challenging undulations which makes putting more fun.

It took 2 hrs for the front nine then a slowwwwww 2 hrs 35 mins for back nine. waited on every shot. About 6-8 greens were bad and almiost all the bunkers had weeds, hardpan or very little sand.

Morgan’s a good layout, but too mushy greens and crappy traps are lame.

The weather was fantastic, first day wearing shorts this year. The course is in pretty good shape for this time of year, the greens were pretty slow at approximately 9 on the SM.

We had an extremely slow 4some in front of us, they were practicing for a scramble tourney and they were still lagging, I waited to hit on every shot in the round and I had enough when they stole my drive ball so we passed them and called the office to have a marshal come out and nothing happened. It was 4 hours through 12 holes until we moved up.

I've played this course about 10 times and it suits my game pretty well from the combo tees.

Had to quit after 10 holes. Way too slow, 2hrs 45 minutes to play front nine,then saw that groups in front of us at 10 were backed up, where we ended up with 3 groups playing the hole. There were no controls for slow play.

Really enjoy Morgan as well as the staff. Greens were in good shape.

3 hours and 20 minutes. great pace.

The staff are very accommodating

First time playing Here. 90 cart rule which is good and better than path only. Greens were recently punched but didn't really affect my putts. Fairways were green, some rough spots but could be just maintenance. Only downside was place of play. No Marshall wandering the course, it's a Friday, and some 4somes were taking way too long getting ready to play.

Now that the rains have let up they have been able to mow. Greens have been sanded but very lightly so no issues at all.

Course was in decent shape, tee boxes a little muddy but overall nice enough.

The course was in pretty good shape overall. There were some thin grass spots in the fairways but you could see fertilizer there so efforts are being made to fill them in. The greens were better than expected and rolled nicely. The photo is #7 green.

I had an early tee time & had to play in & out of the grounds crew mowing the greens.
