Timber Creek Golf Course - Lakes/Oaks

The course is in pretty good shape, except for the tee box on first par three on the back nine. It is pretty beat up and has been like that for a while. Hope they will fix it soon.

This is a very nice course. Good balance of challenge and forgiveness. There were some dry and over watered areas. Playing courses in the area this time of year, I have come to expect some of these conditions. Great green, but slow for even for recreational play. First 8 holes were great, but 9 we had to wait on the group ahead. This has becoming all too common. The group ahead of them were playing slow with open holed in front of them. Seems courses adapting the PGA model of doing nothing about it. Played a different course with slow play, and the player assistant ask the group to pickup the pace. That group did, solve the problem.

One of my favorite courses in the area! Always in great conditions with friendly staff.

This course is a great gem. The course is always well maintained, and the starters and course assistance staff are very friendly and helpful

It was a hot day... The course is in pretty good condition, however there are bald spots on the fairways, and the tee boxes are not in good shape. Some were very wet right in between the tee markers.

Played Timber Creek recently and had a great experience. The course layout is a lot of fun with a good mix of holes that make you think without being unfair. The greens were in excellent shape—smooth, fast, and very well maintained. Overall, the course was in great condition, and you can tell the staff takes pride in keeping it that way. I’ll definitely be back for another round.

Timber Creek is typically my go-to golf course. It's one of my favorites in Placer County. However, on this day, I was especially disappointed by the pace of play. I can't necessarily blame the course; as always, it's in good condition. However, it would have been nice to see a marshal encouraging the foursome in front to move quicker or let us play through (we were a twosome). The foursome was at least two holes behind the next set of golfers, and yet they refused to let us play through. What's more frustrating (and a sad example of poor golf etiquette), while waiting for the foursome to tee off the 16th hole, I overheard one of the golfers say, "...they can wait." Clearly they knew they were playing slow and still refused to follow proper etiquette. Of course, I will continue to play Timber Creek. It's a wonderful course and the staff are always very nice.

Haven't played this course in years due to moving out of Roseville area. Still a great course that is enjoyable to play.

Fairways are bald in some areas, and the tee boxes are pretty beat up... Greens are pretty good and smooth.
