Soboba Springs Golf Course was founded in 2004 when the Luiseno Indians purchased the property. It had long been a dream of the tribal leaders to own this golf course, which borders their reservation. The tribe's leaders hired Cary Bickler, a disciple of the course's original designer, Desmond Muirhead, to update the layout and pave the way for it to once again be one of southern California's premier golfing destinations. The renovation included the addition of 25 new bunkers, a lengthening of the back tees and shortening of the forward tees by almost 1,000 yards to make it more approachable for the less experienced player. The Augusta-white sand that fills Soboba Springs' bunkers provides a stunning contrast to the lush greens. Water also comes into play throughout the golf course in the form of meandering streams and cascading waterfalls.

Just Wow

This will quick, just think of every good word you can to describe a great golf course, and just apply it here!

Course is every bit as good as Palm Springs courses. The sand traps on the front 9 are just awesome, back were ok, but the front had better sand.

Nothing to complain about, tee time was 7:30, never caught up to anyone in front, so finished in about 4 hours with 3 of us.

Getting ready to overseed.

Played round in 3.5 hours in spite of having to wait a couple of times. Beautiful views. Course is getting ready to overseed so grass was a little short and dry. Doing extensive work putting in new lakes; so will be even more beautiful in the future. Greens were well rolled and putted very true.

Great Views

Great deal. I get there about 45 minute's early and the starter lets me play early. I was solo, took about 3 hours to play. Greens were nice, a bit slow. Tee box were fine. Fairways were okay. I'll definitely go back. The water pond was drained, other than that, great times and scenery

Hot Day of Golf!!

This is one of my favorite courses in the IE we arrived a little early and checked in and were giving an open first tee green light at our convience so we tee off 20 min early did'nt have any groups infront or behind the hole round i mentioned it was very hot the day of play, was somewhat surprized to find out that they had drained one of the main lakes when we teed up on second hole but still made the best of it and happily played on just figured it was a good thing for future play to keep the lakes in pristine shape to sum it up i will be looking forward to playing again with the maintenance all complete luv this couse i think any golfer would too.....

Very friendly staff at the pro shop, i was adding an extra golfer so i called ahead of time and they were able to accommodate us and we're very appreciated that I gave them a heads up. Also snack bar employees were very nice and courteous. the course is in great shape! The tee box and green were beautiful. The price to play is more then a steal !
