Bonaventure Country Club - West Course

It’s a great golf course and it has come along way from the way it was last year. The employees are very nice and always great to joke with. This is one of my go to golf courses.

I noticed that the golf course lacks rangers and requires better maintenance. Despite that, it is a beautiful place with an amiable staff. With some care, this place could be exceptional.

Course has been reborn from last time we played.

Fairways and greens very good. Tee boxes need some work. Will play a few more times over the summer..

I have played this course for the last 40 years. What once was a beautiful, fun course to play had turned into a course that was not taken care of, or management changed for the worse. Fairways a green in horrible shape and the clubhouse stripped of pretty much everything.

However, this time around it was great to see the course back to the championship level it once was. Green, trimmed and well cared for - definitely back in my list to play in a regular basis.

Good condition. Lots of water. Too many people in front and behind us. But played pace was good

Greens were in good condition, which is shocking compared to how it looked one year ago. They rolled at a decent pace and rolled true except two that were slightly bumpy. Bunkers were in decent shape. Fairways and teeboxes good enough. Great course layout. Nice spot to grab snacks at the turn. Worth playing if you're in the Broward area.

This course has undergone a ttemendous improvment v several years ago, The greens have come back. The bunkers have been redone and are groomed (could maybe use a bit more sand), the fairways are good. Only a few tees areas remain to be improved.

The course was much better than some other reviewers indicated. The greens were in good shape. The fairways were in good condition. Only a couple of tee boxes were spotty.

The greens have definitely improved since the last time I've played here a few months ago and I'm sure they really improved over the past year or 2.The greens are on the slower side and still a few bare spots here and there on a couple of greens but nothing that deters me from playing here again.Fairways are solid too,nothing out of this world but solid for a regular public course.

Been playing this course for over 10 years. The last few years the course went extremely downhill to where it was almost unplayable. Read a lot of reviews that said the new owners put some money into the course and it was a lot better. Played yesterday and was not disappointed. The course was in great shape compared to what it was. The greens were the most improved area. They were smooth and rolled well. One or two needed some more work but overall they were great. Tee boxes were decent, could use a little more love but you can tell they are moving in the right direction. The food shack at the turn was great. Had lots of options for a mid round snack. There was also a cart girl on the course that was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be putting this course back in the rotation.

First time playing the course and we loved it! Greens well maintained and fairways were groomed with no obstructions!

First some tee boxes were like playground or community parks little to no grass, some par 3 had zero room for error. Some greens had crab grass an was so hard balls would bounce on the green an end up behind the first cut

After reading some so so reviews I was pleasantly surprised by the course. It was purchased by a new owner 11 months ago and they have made steady improvements since then. Challenging holes for every skill level. Greens are still on the mend but roll pretty good. A great snack shack at the turn and very sweet ( and absolutely beautiful ) cart girls in the course to keep you hydrated. There is a little language barrier at the 19th hole but it worked out ok eventually. I would absolutely play here again.
