Bonaventure Country Club - West Course

Course was in good shape, although some areas the cut seem to be a little high compared to other courses. Some greens had a lot of crab grass an bald spots were uneven plugs had been place for regrowth

WOW! This course had a HUGE turnaround. The fairways are getting WAY better, the greens still need a LITTLE bit of work and the teeboxes are looking awesome. I am happy I came back to play here. DON'T LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!!!!

I was staying in the area and wanted to play, read reviews and wasn't sure But I'm happy I did play. Course must have had a big turnaround from the prior reviews. The layout is great and the condition well exceeded the cost to play. Spoke with the guy in the pro shop and he said that they have put a lot of work into the course with a new team. Highly recommend this course a great value and play.

It’s insane what they charge for the condition of the greens you cannot putt in this course, every green is either uneven, bumping, bare or burn. Pretty much aerated greens….. fairways are below average and the rough it’s not even cut. It’s real a waste of time. If you’re trying to get a real round, I recommend any other golf courses will provide better pricing and course condition….

He course has improved tremendously since the last time I played it....renovations were completed/

Course has always been a challenge - very good. The greens need work - but fairways, tees, and rest of course was in very good condition - just wet from all the rain

Over the last few years this course has gone down hill quite a bit. The greens are chopped up and can't barely putt a line farther then 4 feet, and the rough was cut, but still so deep and with clippings I lost a few balls that were easily playable. For the $25 I paid for a hot tee time, it was fine, but I wouldn't pay any more for that course.

It was a very good course for the money. However, there were a few temporary greens and the courses being renovated overall. My wife and I enjoyed it.

First time using a Hot Deal from Golf Pass. Played this course years ago, and it was a supreme destination for golf. Sad to see it in the condition it now is in, but still very good for getting back into golf.

Some greens are provisional, fairways a lot of no grass, rough has a grass too high (lost 2 balls) and the pacing was horrible (at least 2 holes open ahead and 3 groups waiting for each tee shots)

Didn't even bother to seed and trim temporary greens, just stuck a flag hole off to the side and let us figure it out on our own, after trying to putt on the first one which was ridiculous we skipped the next four.,,, all this for regular prices. There was a nice well stocked ice/water station by the cart shack, but, the one employee inside told us the bar/snack counter inside didn't open till noon and the refreshment shack at the 1st tee /turn was not opening because it had no electricity

As the title says this is by far the worst golf course in South Florida any other review that states the layout or the course are any type of playable condition is a flat out lie. The fairways are nonexistent more weed than grass. They have several greens blocked off but the ones you can play are in just as terrible condition either being deceased, bumpy, Sandy or dead. They don’t maintain the rough so at this point looks like swamp land.

The staff attitude reflects the course terrible conditions. They are trying to safe face by saying they’re working on the course but the matter of the fact is unless they were completely closed and remodel this course it is never going to be anything other than the worst course in South Florida and a complete cow pasture that it’s not worth paying for. Do yourself a favor and go to any other golf course is better than this wasteland.
