Bonaventure Country Club - West Course

Lack of Maintenance. Greens in a VARY BAD CONDITION. Not recommended

Course has a nice lay-out.. They are working to improve the course. Water on almost every hole. With some work this could be a great course. There was no starter, no one unloading back and the Ranger was watching over us like a hawk. The course played well but check back in 2024 and I think there will be a huge improvement.

While the layout is decent the conditions of this course seem to be beyond repair. The fairways are dead, the greens look like a scene out of an apocalypse movie and for the price, I would defiantly play elsewhere.

Played this golf course years ago it was a beautiful place with the waterfalls and the conditions where great!, now the greens are horrible the whole place is horrible nothing is open.

Course is fun , but the condition is sorry. Needs lots of maintenance! Greens for most part are awful. Everything is in sorry shape . Only thing decent is the golf carts.

Pace of play is ridiculous here. Took 1 hour to play 3 holes. Clubhouse won’t send a ranger out and basically told me it is what it is. Will never play again. Not to mention the the greens might as well be sand bunkers

Played on a perfect day; warm and a slight breeze. The course has an interesting layout but the tee boxes and greens were in terrible shape. The first green was un-puttable and several others were not much better. It is a shame because it is an interesting and challenging layout with water on many of the holes. There was little difference between the fairway and the rough other than the length of the grass. I will keep looking at the posts and will consider playing it again if the conditions seem to improve.

Horrible experience, greens were so horrible, this is a 20$ course.

Dry and brown, needs a lot of work everywhere, greens, fairways!! Traps are good that's about it!!

Course has been slowly deteriorating to where it is now.

Most greens are passable but have extensive damage.

This course needs money to start up their watering which I feel is 90% of the problem. Dry, dead grass everywhere.

Other than that the course has great bones.

I will come back next year to see if some one put some money into it or it will be under construction for 500 new homes.

This is my first review ever for a golf course, but I felt the need to.

This golf course is in terrible terrible shape. Putting aside. The burnt grass everywhere the greens were a nightmare.. completely destroyed. As we were approaching the 16th hole, there was a maintenance guy literally watering the green. On the other holes, three huge sprinklers went off, making it impossible to finish. I would not play here again, even if it was free. There is no possible way anyone would write a good review about this golf course. The good reviews have to be employees or family members.

The course was really bad.. looks like management is not paying attention to the course at all and they are probably purposely doing it to sell and build houses... the fairways were in really bad shape doesnt look like they are even turning the sprinklers on to them. i've seen better grass in a park ... overall really bad..

Fairway’s were in better shape than the greens course should be closed , left after playing nine holes that took 2:45 to play
