About
Grand Ridge Golf Club is tucked away in the swamplands of St. Charles Parish, La. This scenic course is dappled with towering cypress trees and ancient oaks draped in moss. There are enough challenges on the golf course to keep the beautiful backdrop from being too distracting though. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes and the tight fairways are lined with trees. You'll need to have accurate drives in order to put you in a good position for the approach to the equally challenging greens. The golf course is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to low and high handicappers alike. Grand Ridge Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 15th. This tough 515-yard hole starts off with a tee shot over a pond up a narrow, tree-lined fairway.

Great golf for the price
Grand Ridge has made vast improvement in the recent years, the fairways and greens roll very nice. For 50 dollars you can’t play on a much nicer course
Getting better
This course is definitely coming around from the last time I played there. Greens looked good, their was sand in the bunkers. Little more work and it will be very nice for the money. Would recommend a round.
Pleasant Surprise
First time playing here as a out of state visitor. The tee boxes and greens were outstanding. Fairways were a little "iffy" in places, but not unexpected this time of year and during hot weather. Played as a single on a Friday afternoon in about 3 hours and only played through one group (2nd hole).
Had a good burger in the restaurant and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They lost over 300 trees to the last hurricane, but it looks like they have spent the needed time and money to clean the course up. There was also a lot of clubhouse renovation going on, so they are doing things right.
This course will be on my play list the next time I visit the New Orleans area, which is about once a year.
Definitely make the loop here if you are in the area.
Be warned, the edges of most of the greens have fairly steep drop offs, so play to the middle of the greens or you may be walking up with a wedge in your hand.
The effort put into maintenance shows
Maintenance crews have clearly been working very hard to upgrade the course conditions. The greens are rolling very truly. Fairways are in good shape. Bunkers look good (was fortunate to avoid them).
Keep up the good work.
Course in great shape
The greens, fairways and bunkers are in really good shape. Kudos to the course maintenance crew.
Great Experience
I had a great first experience at Grand Ridge Golf Club. Greens were in great shape and the course had an enjoyable layout that was challenging. Staff did a great job keeping the course clean and the gentleman in the pro shop was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely return.
Course in great condition...
I was really impressed with the condition of the course. Greens were super.
Great staff, laid back atmosphere
Course is in recovery mode from storms last year..Greens are good . You can find decent lie in fairways. I enjoy the friendlyness of the people. Played at my on pace..2-3 balls at times. Caught up to two groups and the both let me play through. Will come back again.. great place to work on different areas of your game..
