Grand Ridge Golf Club is tucked away in the swamplands of St. Charles Parish, La. This scenic course is dappled with towering cypress trees and ancient oaks draped in moss. There are enough challenges on the golf course to keep the beautiful backdrop from being too distracting though. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes and the tight fairways are lined with trees. You'll need to have accurate drives in order to put you in a good position for the approach to the equally challenging greens. The golf course is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to low and high handicappers alike. Grand Ridge Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 15th. This tough 515-yard hole starts off with a tee shot over a pond up a narrow, tree-lined fairway.

Pleasant Experience
The staff, Stan, was great. Went off early with 2 others and we had a great time, never waited . Course had 8 “. Of rain the week before. Fairways very wet, cart path only. Tee boxes and greens great. Narrow fairways so the walk to opposite side of cart part wasn’t bad. Will definitely come back. Thanks for a very relaxing and fun day.

Negatives first......
Driving Range under construction. So no warming up before playing.
Didn't have pin locations. Guessed at it all day.
Two or three holes holes have either a tree in the middle of the fairway or in a location that doesn't make for fair play.
Positives.......
Great course conditions.
Greens very good conditions.
Tight course.
Scenery pleasant.
Overall 7/10. Easy fix of range and pin locations can make this a 8.5/10 course.
Will definitely play again.
Frozen Tundra
It's a shame that the freeze got to this course because they had some of the best greens in the area and his course was coming around to be a great course but the freeze got it
best green within 25miles

Decent round for late summer
Old school semi private country club. Overall has seen better days but still a decent round. Tee to green was is good condition. Greens were above average for the area. At $48 not such a great deal but better at $38.

Great but soggy
I love this course , but we have had a lot of rain lately .
I know that they have done a lot work on drainage but they still have a lot of work to do and they are doing it.
I will continue to play the course because when it is dry it is one the best course in the area
