About
Grand Ridge Golf Club is tucked away in the swamplands of St. Charles Parish, La. This scenic course is dappled with towering cypress trees and ancient oaks draped in moss. There are enough challenges on the golf course to keep the beautiful backdrop from being too distracting though. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes and the tight fairways are lined with trees. You'll need to have accurate drives in order to put you in a good position for the approach to the equally challenging greens. The golf course is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to low and high handicappers alike. Grand Ridge Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 15th. This tough 515-yard hole starts off with a tee shot over a pond up a narrow, tree-lined fairway.

Bad experience
No one was marshaling the course. Play was backed up because of multiple groups with slow play with no regrade to pace. Never saw the pro or any staff out. People were out fishing The ponds in the direct line of the tee. Awful experience
Course Conditions Greatly Improved
The COVID-19 concerns are addressed well. All carts are sanitized. Table set up at the entrance of the pro shop so you don’t go in.
Greens are fast and roll true. Bunkers are in good condition. Fairways are a little thin but.......you get a ton of roll on dry days. Today the wind was a steady 17-18 mph, so that roll came in handy into the wind.
The course is challenging with good variety.
Had a great time. Some fairways were under repair but greens were fantastic. Winds were strong which made round even more challenging. I'll be back
Good shape
The course is coming along nicely. There were numerous golfers on course but pace of play was good. Clubhouse was closed due to quarantine. Overall a great day
A Rough Outing
While this course is a short drive from the metro area, it’s definitely not worth the price. The staff friendliness and pace of play can’t make up for the overall condition of the course and facilities. If you like grass and clean rest stations, look elsewhere.

Grand Ridge has improved tremendously! It is in the best shape it has been in years, new ownership has the course headed in the right direction!

Excellent for the price to challenge your ability to score birdies and pars..I'm betting you will not WIN all....love the challenge..Bring a friend as a witness...Have Happy with the challenges.

Didn't know what to expect with everything going on But had a great time the course is in excellent shape the greens are very nice
GREENS ARE EXCELLENT
Beside the construction that going on the course is EXCELLENT to play..Spend your money and enjoy yourself.. The green will challenge your reading ability if you attended class.

Course is comiing to be a place that will be on the top of this areas list of best greens.

Positive Progress
Good course and the greens are in great shape except for about three of them.
Don t have any complaints at all.
Always play good and score low at this course.
The fairways are pretty bad in a lot of places but you can find good spots to roll it to but I continue to see them working on the course each time come and I see the progress.

Disappointed
I regularly use golf now and am typically pleased with the courses I play. Today that was not the case. This course was in poor condition and much easier than represented on the website. Slope listed as 140 but actually 122. Overall very misrepresented on website.
