Grand Ridge Golf Club
About
Grand Ridge Golf Club is tucked away in the swamplands of St. Charles Parish, La. This scenic course is dappled with towering cypress trees and ancient oaks draped in moss. There are enough challenges on the golf course to keep the beautiful backdrop from being too distracting though. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes and the tight fairways are lined with trees. You'll need to have accurate drives in order to put you in a good position for the approach to the equally challenging greens. The golf course is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to low and high handicappers alike. Grand Ridge Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 15th. This tough 515-yard hole starts off with a tee shot over a pond up a narrow, tree-lined fairway.

Nice, comfortable round of golf.
This is one of our favorite courses in the New Orleans area. There are a lot of drainage improvements going on right now, which were needed, so work going on, but still a beautiful, moderating challenging course. We always play during the week and rate of play is always good (not sure what it would be like on weekends). Prices have gone up a bit over the last few years, still fairly reasonable for the area though and many improvements to course and facilities have been made or are ongoing. Ida definitely left its mark with damaged buildings in the process of repair and downed trees around the course, but still one of our favorites.
Nice course but they had a group of 5 teenagers playing with 4 carts and 4 sets of clubs in front of us and they didn't even acknowledge us to go through. And we tried on several occasions.
No golf etiquette
We (a twosome) caught a group of five playing out of 4 sets of clubs on the 11th hole.
They wouldn't let us go through, we had to wait on them every hole until we finished.

Not in too bad of shape
Since hurricane Ida, all the courses in the area have been struggling to get back in shape. I think
Grand Ridge has done a very good job, with all the damage on and around the course. Some of the
Fairways are a little rough, but the greens are in great shape.

Hidden gem
Course is in excellent shape .The greens are holding and rolling great can’t wait until next Sunday to play again.
Those Greens!
The greens were in excellent condition! Of course they lost a lot of trees but not the big oak on number two. Tee boxes were very good iand the fairways were OK. Nice course. They could use a little help in the bar but other than that real good time.
Ida claimed a lot of trees
Course overall in good shape. Ida took a lot of trees down. Sad to see. Staff as always very friendly.
Very enjoyable day
The staff was very friendly. The course was in real good condition. I played as a single and zipped around. Got a great price on GolfNow.
Great traditional course
Nice course with doglegs and challenging par 4s. Great pro & grill.
Greens were in good shape
Has been lots of rain the past couple of weeks, therefore the fair ways were soaked.
