The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course
About
Located in the west valley, The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course (formerly known as the Legend at Arrowhead Golf Club) is an Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed golf course with a traditional layout. The challenging course has six lakes creating water hazards on many of the holes and several doglegs. The difficult to read greens are undulating and in excellent condition. Each hole, except for one, has bunkering on the fairways or protecting the greens. The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course's signature hole is the par-4, 426-yard fifth hole. It calls for a shot off an elevated tee with water running along the right side of the fairway as well as next to the green.

Terrible pace of play and management
Arcis golf and the Legend staff should be absolutely embarrassed with how poorly managed their courses are. Pace of play here is never under 5 hours. With 7 minute gaps in tee times, a starter who pushes you out early, and a complete lack of any marshal to keep pace of play up it’s a miracle it doesn’t take more than 5 hours here. Course runs out of carts due to over booking and causing even further delays.
The only saving grace about this course is the fairways and greens. The fairways are in decent shape. The greens are extremely fast and fairly firm which does provide some fun. The layout is nice. Definitely not a $100 or more course. Ever. Stay away unless you’re playing for free.
Absurdly slow and over booked
I’ve played this course a number of times. I had a 315 tee time and didn’t get out until 4. The course was way over booked. The delay wasn’t even due to a weather issue like a frost delay. There weren’t enough carts, which was part of the reason it took so long to get out. My group literally didn’t even have a cart until the group ahead was already at the second tee box. But even outside of that it was a hurry up and wait for the group ahead of you, that was waiting on the group in front of them kind of afternoon. This anlso isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this at this course. Outside of being over booked, the course was in really good shape. I normally really enjoy playing this course.
pleasant surprise
the morning started out COLD...warmed to reasonable golfing temperatures. loved the layout, challenging, undulating greens with character, a little bit of water keeping you honest. course was in great shape, fairways smooth, greens ran fast and true. we would love to play this course again if kept at the right price point-i'd say, for me, $75-100 is well worth it if it plays as it did today. the key is all of the above plus rangers keeping play moving to a 4/4:15 pace i'd play it any day
This course exceeded my expectations
It was a busy week around Phoenix and I wasn’t sure about this course after looking at it on YouTube . That video doesn’t do the course justice. My son and I were challenged by the greens and enjoyed 18 holes. We would definitely recommend this course to others.
A decent course with some nice views.
The course had some rough spots but enough good ones to make up for it. It's relatively flat as expected with some undulating fairways. The greens were fast and had some very challenging elevation changes. Lots of goose poop in the tee boxes which were very hard. Need to bring a drill to set your tee. A nice course if you get it for under a c.
very nice
This was my first visit, although being retired I shy away from $100 rounds of golf, this was a very nice course, with challenging greens. strongly recommend.
Enjoyable day playing Legend at Arrowhead, but…
Fairways and greens were in great shape but course shows her age. Would have been more enjoyable day if the pro shop or starter would have given us the combination to the door locks for the on course bathrooms so it was a long and uncomfortable wait to go both front and back nines without a bathroom.
Goose poop on all holes!
If u like goose poop and no ball washers this place is for you. And undulating tee boxes!....bring some Wet-Naps to clean your balls and shoes
Well Maintained & Fun Course
Was a bit slow only from one group ahead of me. $50 afternoon time was reasonable. Will come again.
