The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course

Excellent course to play! Many tee boxes to fit your game! Looking forward to play again,

Positives:

Beautiful scenery and course layout.

Cool club house, relaxed bar feel to it with games and inside outside bar.

Practice area- above average with flaws . Range and chipping were nice. The putting practice area could be a bit bigger. It was a battle to get one pin to practice on.

Pace of play - it was a slower Tuesday so pace of play was amazing. I was paired with another guy and we finished 3.5 hours.

Course layout- Okay, this might be the first course ived played with houses down all fairways that I would say no one should worry. The fairways were narrow at some points but the rough on each side was Wide! You could slice one and feel okay about it.

The course itself has lots of sand and water but most of it is not in play unless you horribly miss the green. If you're a low handicap player this place won't be that challenging.

Negative: I've seen some other reviews say this and it's true. The greens were nice but lots of divots. I won't put this all on the course management because people need to fix their divots but it was bad. Other than that after reseeding the green grass areas were great. The rough is dead in lots of spots.

My honest assessment, if I lived closer I would play here 1-2 times a week. I would also take friends here. It's worth the visit in the $25-$65 range but nothing higher.

The Legend was a good find, the staff was very good and the conditions were ok. They were no longer CP only, which was a nice surprise since it is overseed season in the valley. The layout was average but challenging enough. The real down-grade is because there were dozens of unrepaired ball marks on every green. It's like they held a scramble everyday since opening from overseed and no repair tools were available.

Poor management. I had a tee time @1.52 pm but no carts were available as their was a tournament in the morning. Starter was there for a while, then disappeared leaving me to fate. I had to walk 9 holes in treacherous heat.

I book a tee time yesterday for 10:30 today. After booking I remembered I had a doctor's appointment and immediately tried calling the golf shop to cancel and for 24 hours nobody answers the phone there's just a prerecorded message saying they are unable to take your call and to modify your tee times via website. Well I went to golf now and requested a cancel and was immediately told I was unable to cancel. Way to rip off disabled customers.

Nice course. Great restaurant. Very friendly staff. Nice scenery but relatively generous driving areas. Fairways and tee boxes were about perfect. Greens were a little slow compared to the quality of the course. Was cart path only. Didn’t really seem like it needed to be…

only issue with this course is the tee boxes, they are never level, always sitting high or standing in a low spot

The Greens were in excellent condition for the most part. There were a few holes with major indentations that needed repair. A lot of ball marks that weren’t fixed but that’s on the golfers, not those maintaining the course. Good course, and if the opportunity arises, I’ll definitely play again.
