Golf with a buddy
Overall course is in good shape. Greens are excellent.
Good day of golf
The greens were a bit slow but over all the course was in good shape.
Good course
Course was in great shape and the pace was great on the front nine but then ran into a group that was really slow and didn’t seem to care. Never saw a Marshall
Palm Valley, Goodyear, Az
Two couples planned a golf vacation and decided to play Palm Valley for the first round of the year. We found the course challenging but playable. Our one complaint was with the course marshals. We followed another foursome and kept pace with them, finishing the first nine holes in 2 hr 20 min. No comments about the pace of play from anyone. On the13th hole, we were met by a marshal who asked us to pick up the pace. Then the marshal proceeded to follow us for the remaining 5 holes, which took away from the enjoyment of the golf experience. We finished the back nine in the identical time of 2 hours 20 min. I have never been met with this type of harassment on a golf course, making this one of the low points in my 50+ years of playing. Needless to say, I would not recommend this course and we will not be going back.

Great course / Fun Course course! Greens and fairways in great shape! Played South and West courses.
Excellent, friendly staff - fantastic layout
I accidentally booked a tee time for two days past today’s date - and when Craig at the clubhouse realized my mistake, he found us a tee time for that morning, saving me quite an embarrassing moment. Once we got on the South/West course, I was really impressed with the layout of the holes. A great mix of short and long par 4’s, reachable par 5’s and various Par 3’s. If I could give the layout six stars, I would! Course conditions were fantastic, save for a few patchy greens that still rolled true. Saw the beer cart four times, staff were also extremely friendly. Only two issues: our cart died on the eighth hole, which is apparently a common occurrence as I saw one more being pushed back later on in the round, and three maintenance staff were gathered in the middle of the fairway for several minutes while we waited on the tee box, in their view. Once they dispersed the fairway mower kept cutting grass right down the middle of the fairway. Otherwise it was a great experience and I will be back to try the North course and have a bite in the restaurant soon!
