Las Sendas Golf Club
About
Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed Las Sendas Golf Club's course, opened in 1995 and among the toughest U.S. courses. Two Zagat surveys have ranked it among the top 50 U.S. golf courses.
Las Sendas Golf Club offers a desert course demanding top play as it takes golfers through the Usery Mountains, with a vista of Phoenix as the tradeoff for managing rough land close to 1,800 feet above the desert. Jones didn't create a course with whimsical decorations like railroad ties, and he didn't build targets. The golf course is for those who strategize, mapping the way from tee to green.
After a round at Las Sendas Golf Club, head to Las Sendas Grille, for the full bar, including wines from California, Australia and Europe, as well as four tap beers and domestic and imported bottles.

Golfer Reviews
Las Sendas
Outstanding course. Layout is spectacular and course is in great shape.
Friendly staff, particularly the starter Misty. Overall a
Strong option if you’re looking for a premium course. Only slight wrinkle is that food options and limited and what they have is overpriced.
Hard course
Well kept and very fun course… very challenging as well greens are small and fast when chipping on … lot of blind shots and beautiful scenary
Elite PHX Metro course
Not cheap but definitely upper echelon in layout, views, aesthetics, conditioning, and greens. This doesnt get the attention it deserves. I was impressed and will be back in future visits.
Las Sendas
A little off the beaten path, but a must play course in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Beautiful course with 5 tees, stretching from 5500 to over 7000 yards. Starter was friendly and explained a lot to first-time our group. Bag drop and pro shop staff were friendly and helpful. Driving range was mat only, but still good. Course was open - you can tailor the difficulty to your game. Lots of wildlife - roadrunners, jackrabbits, hawks, etc. Up in the hills, so the views were magnificent. One of my favorites.
Las Sendas
Nice course. Small greens. Had one of the firdt tee times and we were on a good pace until we made the turn. They put groups out in front of us on the back that we waited on for almost every shot. Very nice Course. Definitely playable.
Good club
Very nice place to play, good pace of play especially for a Saturday. Course conditions were outstanding. Great views. Definitely worth the drive.
Were the ladies tees an afterthought?
Course was 5 out of 5 for me but only 3/5 for the wofe. The ladies tees are the same as the whites on almost all the holes with only a couple where they were appropriately distanced.
Amazing
Great layout, hard but fair course. Played it 3 years ago and it was in bad shape then. Saturday it was in beautiful shape. Had to get to airport so did not check out the restaurant or anything. Would definitely go back. Views from the course spectacular.
Beautiful course. As a beginner it was a tough course. Conditions of the fairways and greens were very good.
As good as ever
Las Sendas was in tip top condition. From tee boxes to bunkers and greens. We teed off early and pace of play was excellent. The team are very helpful and nicely unobtrusive. It remains my go to corse when I’m in the Phoenix area.
Amazing
From the get go we were amazed with this course. The greeter was cheerful and happy to see us. Welcomed 2 women liked we belonged there. I loved that.
Another woman was joining our twosome. She asked if it was walkable. He said “sure” we have several members who walk this course. She seemed to be fit but was exhausted at the end of 9 and did not finish. Unless you are in fabulous shape and are a mountain goat I would not suggest walking this course. lol
The course was in fabulous shape. We totally enjoyed our round. We didn’t shoot our handicap but we thoroughly loved playing here and look forward to playing it again next fall when we return.
We enjoyed a glass if wine and bruschetta after the round which was very tasty. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive
Desert beauty
Amazing layout. Not for the faint of heart
Beautiful
