About
Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed Las Sendas Golf Club's course, opened in 1995 and among the toughest U.S. courses. Two Zagat surveys have ranked it among the top 50 U.S. golf courses.
Las Sendas Golf Club offers a desert course demanding top play as it takes golfers through the Usery Mountains, with a vista of Phoenix as the tradeoff for managing rough land close to 1,800 feet above the desert. Jones didn't create a course with whimsical decorations like railroad ties, and he didn't build targets. The golf course is for those who strategize, mapping the way from tee to green.
After a round at Las Sendas Golf Club, head to Las Sendas Grille, for the full bar, including wines from California, Australia and Europe, as well as four tap beers and domestic and imported bottles.

The course was great. The only complaint is that I signed up as a single and learned as I approached the first tee that the threesome I was scheduled to play with was sent out early, leaving me to play alone. Fortunately, there was another threesome going out 45 minutes later so it turned out OK, but the course needs t be mindful of that.

Tough but beautiful desert track
first time playing this terrific desert course….it was a really beautiful course, with some very challenging holes backdropped against hills and desert mountains. There were a lot of elevated green which made approach shots more challenging. Would love to play it again, as figuring out landing areas and green layouts the first time was tough

Most Scenic
Played 3 courses while in town and this was by far the most scenic of the 3. The layout is challenging and the course was in perfect condition. This is definitely a course that I will book every time I'm I visit the Scottsdale area.

Best public course in Mesa area
This is my favorite course in the region. Unfortunately the price to play it has more than double this year. Too expensive at regular price

Best course in the Valley!
We play this course often! In my opinion it's by far the best course in the Valley! It's always great to see Rena's smiling face at the snack shack and the starters are always so friendly! If I could give it 6 stars I would. See you soon Las Sendas Golf ⛳️

Fine course
Played later in the afternoon when fees were lower beautiful course with a terrific layout and plenty of wildlife. Homes are beautiful and this course will be among my favorites. This is not your run of the mill golf course. It is difficult, but with five tee boxes one can choose the length that fits their ability. Five stars.
