Las Sendas Golf Club

The search was set up for 2 players and somehow the reservation was made for 1 player. We found this out at the pro shop and were not able to play since they were fully booked that day. I will take responsibility for not double checking the details of the reservation but not sure how it changed from 2 players to 1.

Play here whenever I’m in AZ , love the layout , however this time the post- overseed conditions were horrible .. softball sized clods of decaying grass everywhere in the rough and around greens , mower decks were not leveled so grass uneven throughout . If I were a member here I’d be angry and looking for a new greenskeeper . Why would they mow right after monsoon rains and create tire damage around bunkers ? Despite a 4:45 round due to cart path only , I’m more upset with the terrible conditions and painfully slow greens that should have been rolled . The poorly executed maintenance begs for turf disease and insect infestation during peak season . One of my favorite courses , but can’t look beyond the lazy greens keeping so I’m not sure when I’ll come back .

The course is challenging especially from the tips.

There are a few spots that are being worked on the fairway, but overall condition is good.

Las Sendas is nearing the end of the summer grass season and was a little rough around the edges. We enjoyed the variety of holes and shot making requirements, but were disappointed with the lack of signage on the course regarding tee boxes or yardage. Our cart gps didn’t work, which normally wouldn’t be an issue but with the number of blind shots and fairways running out on doglegs, we were challenged to hit to appropriate areas. We lost a few balls we were sure would be in fairways. Greens and fairways were decent, traps were a little thin on sand, tee boxes were pretty beat up.

A fun challenging course made wose by unforgivable overgrowndesert border!

I keep returning. Picture from 18th teeing ground tells it all. Enjoy the play, enjoy the vistas.

Course was in decent shape, my only complaint would be the pace of play. The two groups in front of us were pretty slow. The ranger spoke them but the pace didn't change. I will be back.

Golfed here on labor day and the course is in great shape for summer. Paid 51 bucks which is decent for 18 holes. Was greeted promptly, took my bags and put them on the cart for me. Pace of play was good. No waiting for other golfers. Not sure why people on here are complaining about course conditions. This course is in great shape, especially for summer. Definitely recommend.

Well this is a semi private course and there was no sand in the bunkers, uneven tee boxes and lots of brown/ dirt spots? I was laughing at the fact there was a 70k fee to be a member, when every troon course in the valley is twice as nice and taken care of as opposed to this one. I guess the members here have no concept of money. This is maybe a 75$ course in prime time but does not even crack a top 50 in AZ in my book.

I love this course - good condition, plenty of tee options, cute wildlife, challenging. It is never overcrowded.

I liked the layout of Las Sendas. It is a challenging course. It would be easier the next time you play. A few blind shots or doglegs that you can drive your ball through the fairway. Fun, but would be more enjoyable if I knew the course better.

Overall had a great time out for an early Saturday summer round. Pace of play was great. Course was in pretty good shape for middle of August in AZ summer. Some areas in fairways little dry/dead, but not all that impactful. Greens & bunkers were great. Will be back in a few months to see this course at its’ peak condition ⛳️

Absolutely love this course!! Truly forces your best game. The only thing I would like to see added are yardage marker plates on the par 3 tee boxes.

Enjoyed this course. It had a lot of burned areas and was in decent shape but not in as good a shape as other Scottsdale courses we played. Layout is nice with some good elevation changes and fun holes. Not one of my top 10 courses in Phoenix but a fun layout.
