Great day

Only downside was cart path only due to fresh over seeding

Fantastic facilities, great value for your money

Played there as a single and was paired with some wonderful people. Course was in great condition. However, only comment was that they had recently reseeded and was cart path only. This resulted in greens being very slow, but true, and the pace of play a tad slow. Would love to come back and play again.

First day after overseeding

The course was nice the overseed came out nice on them. The pace was great especially with cart path only did the round a little over 4 hours. The greens were slow but nice and true. Once they cut them will be a little faster so will play again in few weeks

Walked

Greens are challenging

Longbow is a real nice golf course. It was in excellent condition and the holes are interesting. I really enjoy playing here.

The pro-shop staff couldn’t be friendlier. They were very helpful. My only complaint is the course and their system really aren’t set up for walkers. They do not have a starter, but wait and give you the keys to your cart when its your tee time. That works great for people riding, but created a lot of confusion (for me) when i walked to the first tee early. It would have worked fine if i waited by the carts for them to hand out the keys, but i’m not accustomed to waiting until my tee time to get to the first tee.

Second complaint about being a walker is they dont give you a discount - you pay for the cart either way. Ok, lots of courses are like that, just beware if you are a walker.

Finally, i found very few paths through the desert from green to tee. I pretty much had to stick to the cart paths with my electric cart.

Still love the place and will play there again (and walk)

This course is in really good shape and challenging. Lots of green fairways, all the bunkers and greens in excellent shape. Pace of play was very good, round was about 3.5 hours with a lot of players out on the course. Beverage lady was well stocked too. Would definitely recommend playing here with over seeding occurring across all the courses.

Surprisingly Challenging

Its a desert course, but it is 1) not wide open where you can bomb away without trouble and 2) sand trap galore. Near the green, in the middle of the fairway, etc.

Recommendation for those going for the first time, your three wood is your friend. I would recommend taking a little off the driver and being in the middle as the rough is not very forgiving

Longbow didn’t disappoint

I’ve been wanting to try this course for a long time after reading so many good reviews. I really enjoyed my round here. The course has a nice layout and the condition was very good for late summer. Found a decent rate on GolfNow so it was worth the drive from the west valley.

Fantastic course

This was my first time playing the course. The conditions were fantastic. One of the best courses that I have played this summer. Fairways were in great shape. Greens were a tad fast. Pace of play slowed down a little on the back 9. Well worth making the trip from the far west valley.
