About
Golden Hills Golf Club (formerly known as Arizona Golf Resort) is home to a golf school and a challenging 18-hole course. The golf course is known for its difficult and scenic par-3 holes. It is has a traditional layout that features large, subtly sloped greens that are guarded by bunkers. Stately cottonwood and eucalyptus trees line the generous fairways. Lakes form water hazards that come into play on five holes and there is also native rough throughout the course. With four sets of tee boxes, the course offers a suitable challenge for players of all skill levels. In addition to the course and the school, the Golden Hills Golf Club has a putting green and chipping area as well.

Not terrible for the price!
For the price it's not terrible! Course is pretty short with a few blind holes.
We had an afternoon tee time and made it to 11 holes. Would return earlier and play the whole course

Course still sucks…
Paid less than I would for any crappy course in the area, but the pace of play was 5+ hours and the conditions were less than good. If you want to have homeless people walking around on your golf hole and staff that also look homeless, this is your place. Won’t be back, greenfield lakes is better
Fun course
Course is in much better shape than last year. Beautiful day but we never encountered the beer cart!( got very thirsty). After nine holes we came in to grab some cold beverages but clubhouse was closed!🤔

Fun if course is cheap
If you can get a good deal to play, it is a fun course. If you pay a normal golf rate for this course you would be disappointed. Areas that are supposed to be grass are dirt. No in the best condition. Staff if friendly though.
The course is in much better shape this year over last but still needs some work. I think the cost is high for this caliber course but guess it's the going rate for snow birds.
