Located in Mesa, Desert Sand Golf Course is an executive length course with a short layout that is most suitable for beginners, but it is also a good place for golfers of all skill levels to work on their short game skills. Due to its flat terrain, the course is easy to walk with few elevation changes. The greens are remarkably fast and water hazards come into play on five holes. There are also sand bunkers scattered throughout the course. The Desert Sand Golf Course facility offers a chipping area and putting green and it is also home to a golf school.

Good condition but crazy tough greens for an average golfer.
Houses along the course, especially the back nine are pretty tough looking, sure takes away from the ambiance.
An OK short course
An older course. Short. Good enough to practice your short game. Not a fan of having to cross Sossaman road twice on the back nine. It's a much better value once the summer rates kick in.
Rudest Pro Shop Staff EVER
It's a good bang for your buck course- ideal for beginners. However the service, especially the woman in the pro shop is miserable to work with. She is rude, not welcoming and has obvious distain for her job or much less treating people with common decency. Which is too bad since the course is actually and fun to play. Do better Desert Sands. Your first impression with her leaves a bad impression.
Golf in az
Great course for mix of beginners and more experienced players. Greens are tricky. Stay below the hole when making approach ahots
Great short course for the money.
Great course for the money. Fairways and greens in great shape. The staff, especially the starter Shelly was super helpful and friendly.. I would definitely golf this short course again.
Fun course
Fun course, short executive 18, greens were difficult but still fun
