About
The golf course at Red Mountain Ranch & Country Club is a beautifully designed layout set against a desert landscape with rock formations, mesquite trees, and cacti. Pete and Perry Dye designed the course, combining both beauty and challenge. This championship course was built on rolling terrain and has large, sharply contoured greens and extensive mounding that is reinforced with railroad ties. There are not only deep sand bunkers but also grass bunkers protecting the greens. There are also four ponds on the course at Red Mountain Ranch & Country Club, but only three create water hazards that come into play on four holes. A notable hole on the course in which water comes into play is the sixth, a hole that has a peninsula green with water surrounding it along three sides.

Red Mountain Ranch has improved!
I played the course last year in February, and was very disappointed in overall conditions. Decent layout from Pete Dye, but too many muddy lies, poor grass conditions, etc.…. I thought I would give it another try this year and it has improved substantially! Roughs are still thin but fairways, tees and greens are in pretty good shape. Much improved sand conditions in most bunkers as well. I will definitely return.
Great course for the price, fast and protected greens, come ready to be challenged as it’s not an easy lay out.
Great course in need of care
The course and layout are great. Very challenging green complexes; bring your flop shot and be prepared to use it every hole. The range looks third world and cart paths are in need of repair and on this hilly of a course they will have a huge job ahead of them.
Great fun at Red Mt Ranch
We linked up a very nice couple from Canada J&R) for the third time ar Red Mt Ranch and enjoyed each time very much. Course was in great condition. Nice fairway and greens. Some greens are slower than others but overall is very good. Will love to come back and play again soon.

Great option for golfing in East Valley!
This was my first time playing Red Mountain and I was not disappointed. Course was in great shape and weather was perfect for February in Arizona. I was surprised how open the course was. I never felt rushed and I didn't ever have to wait. I loved this about the course and I'm not sure if it's always that way, but I'll definitely be back to try again. We also ate lunch in the clubhouse and though the décor is a little outdated, the food was decent.

Great Course, fun track! Highly recommend to all golfers. Play appropriate tees as it will challenge you!
Course conditions
Layout very good. Tees, fairways and bunkers playable but so so condition
Chalenging but fun layout
This was the first time I played this course. I drove 40 miles from Scottsdale to play this track and enjoyed the challenge. Bunkers were in great condition. Pete Dye design makes this course challenging with many sloped greens and mounding around the green approaches. I will play this course again when I am visiting the area next year.
