About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Sandtraps
The sandtraps were in need of some intensive work. They were very hard, wet and lacked sand. The rest of the course was in nice shape.
Good coarse
Nice golf course. I would golf again. Off sale beverages are very expensive. Beware of that.
Decent Golf Course
The course conditions were very good. The pace of play was good - completed our round in 4:15. Staff was extremely friendly.

Sand traps were in awful condition. very little sand that was often times wet.
Great challenging course
I really enjoyed this course. The overall course is flat but the areas around the greens are challenging. It was fun to play and a great day to be out. I highly recommend this course but do not expect to shoot your handicap.
Not quite up to par
The biggest deal was that the sand traps had no sand in them it was only dirt in most of them. The fairways were nice and green but also wet enough to leave mud on the ball. Surprised by the rough being so out of shape too.
All of the staff were very friendly and deserve to work in a better golf course.
We won't play this on our visit next year.
Fix the traps and this rating would be a 4.5
I have played here several times over the last 7 years. Over that time, everyone I know has complained about the lack of sand in the traps. These complaints have never been addresses. Fix the and you have a great course.
GOOD OVERALL EXPERIENCE
GOOD EXPERIENCE OVERALL. Time of play 4 hrs 15 min. One lake had bad odor. Some trash in some lakes and rough areas.
Roughs with minimal grass but it is winter.
Enjoyable
Overall it was a good course, 2some jumped in front of group on #11 and we had to wait on every hole from 12 onward.
No ranger on the course to address our concern.
Will definitely play again.

Nice course with good layout and some tricky holes around water
Decent course
Is fairly challenging for the average golfer golfer. Quite a lot of sand . And some water, fairways and greens were in pretty good condition.
Good shape, and more challenging than Apache Creek.
Similar layout but more challenging than down the street at Apache Creek. Good condition. And great pace. We got lucky evidently. Good condition (although we live in a state with A-holes who don't know how to repair ball marks on the greens! ) Well worth theprice for this time of year in AZ. I'll for sure go again.
Nice design but horribly maintained!
The course layout was fun and challenging, but it is poorly maintained - trays were in disrepair and there was lots of trash on the course….greens superintendent should be embarrassed.
