About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

diagram of the course layout on the scorecard would be helpful for people who are not familiar with the course.
Also the course gets dark too early! Ha Ha.
OVERBOOKED
I totally understand the coarse needs to recoop money from doing over seed but to have foursomes teeing on average every 8 mins was not good and everything started to bottle neck and so teeing off @ 133 pm average wait time on teeing off the next hole was 10-15 mins per hole and on back 9 on hole 14 we arrived at tee box and did not tee off for close to 30 mins and got 16 holes in between 5 to 5 1/2 hours when normally I can get a 4 some 18 holes in 3-4 hrs so don't know if I can recommend this coarse to anyone unless they wanna pay for 18 holes and don't get to finish.

Interesting course
Interesting layout on some holes but long from the forward tees. Pace of play was slow and they tried to send out a single in between our groups.
It was a Terri old experience!!!!!!!!! Period!!! Will never play that course again. Had no idea I had to stay on cart path. Staff very unfriendly. Not a good place for golf.
It’s ok
I really miss the water on the 9th hole.
Feel like this was their signature hole and are missing the “boat” on this. Bring back ball washers and the second hole was missing tee boxes. So sad, what a great course it used to be
Superstition Springs improving
Course has improved greatly this fall - good over-seeding. Greens could have been mowed better.
Nice Course
Nice course, but made the mistake of playing when it was cart path only. That's too demanding for a 78 year old.
poor conditions
bunkers in bad shape, rough not cut, terrible smell from stagnent water on about 6 holes. we were told not to drive on fairways until we got on the 1st hole,if we had known that we would not have played as it took a lot longer for the round.
Fun and challenging
Super fun and challenging course! Bunkers could use a little work but really a great course for the money.
No cart driving on course
No where did it say they would require no cart driving on course. Course is challenging and requires to drive on course. Never again.
Cart path only but the overseed is coming along nicely
I would guess they will be ready to covert to 90 degrees in another week or 2. Pace of play with 4-somes on every hole was 4:25 ... great for a weekend using cart path only.

When I booked the tee times they didn’t say they just scalped the course and are oveseeding the following week. Still was $59. I will try again after the overseeing is done and give another review. Just would’ve been nice to be told and not charged the going rate when you don’t even have real greens. Oh well.
