About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Course it's an Okay Shape but it's a challenging layout as I feel like I'm Island Hoping... Tee boxes need some help, DO NOT GET CAUGHT IN THE BUNKERS.. SAND ITS REALLY HARD.... The Greens are perfect! Cart girl & Staff are great! 👍🏼👍🏼
Fun day
We were paired with another couple who were fun to play with. It was really important because we pace of play was extremely slow. Great course layout which was challenging .

Do Not Play
The most poorly operated course I have ever played. No marshall present, and we were forced to trudge through a 5.5 hour round.
Fairways and greens in rough shape.
Kids fishing in ponds while you’re shooting at greens.
This place doesn’t care about your experience, don’t give them your money.
Good layout
Traps in bad shape. No apparent investment in the course since I've been playing it over the last few years.

Rough Course
Course was in ok shape. Challenging from all the doglegs. No water on course-empty jugs. Minimal cart people.

Conditions better than expected
I was pleasantly expected with the conditions of the tee boxes, fairways and greens! Yes, there were dirt patches in the rough and off to the sides, but I hadn’t expected as much grass in the fairways!
However, garbage still exists under the bridges (under US 60) which could be picked up! Some of the ponds have less water than usual but I had expected more dried out ones.
The layout of the course is challenging and varied which makes it fun to play! Golfers need to hit their targets and use a number of different clubs!

Challenging Course
Course was great however tee boxes were extremely dry and needed water. No starter around so we just went to the No. 1 tee ourselves. No water in one of the barrels on the back nine-in our weather, they need to be refilled periodically. We went to have a post-round beer, having finished around 5:10 pm only to be told the bar was closed? What's up with that?

Play before summer
First time playing superstition Springs. Course has a lot of potential if they would put the money into it, which is what I was told they were not doing because for in particular, the bunkers might be some of the worst bunkers I had ever seen or been in. I would definitely play this before the summertime as conditions will probably go downhill since it won’t be the high season. Tee boxes, especially the par 3’s were not in the best of shape. Would play again, however, would only probably play January – April.

Needs improvement
Could be great, but needs so much work for the money.

Just OK….
Pro shop and restaurant were great. Course itself was understaffed and lacked water, cart service. Water jugs were empty. 1 cart person for 18 holes. Would not return.

Fishing on the pond
This course did not have a monitor and there were people fishing on the ponds right in the middle of the fairway. It was pretty ridiculous.

Course
Hard and fast to include greens. Pace of play was poor. Beverage cart was no where to be found. The overall course condition was only fair.

Not a course for older then average golfers
I played this course a few years ago when
I was a younger guy and really enjoyed it. After a few years and pounds later this course is too much for me and my playing companions.
Fairways are tight. Greens were in good condition. Then pace of play was brutal thanks to threesome who must have been first time golfers. Five hours…ouch.
Lots a elevated greens that were rock hard. Impossible to get the ball close to the pins.
Won’t be back.
