About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Bunkers were hard, not raked. Had paired with couple new to golf playing from 1 bag.

Nine hole special
Went for the morning nine hole special..
Early to beat the heat.
Staff is extremely friendly. Piece of play good as only a handful of tee times going off the backside. Course was not in great shape.
Really enjoyed the included breakfast.

What happened?
Oh wow… they have given up. It’s like they have a golf course but don’t want to have a golf course … maybe they are waiting for the city to condemn it or sell it off to build another strip mall. Whatever it is - they don’t want people ever coming back to play golf. This was terrible…. Quit after 13 holes and called it a day. Horrendous shape…I’d rather not play than to ever be here again.

Good Round
Been A few years but this was a Great Day and the Staff was excelle t and Helpful. Well trained in Hospitality and only knock was I collect Pocker Chip w Logo and sad they did not have any. Otherwise it was a great day with a good Golf Buddy. His Wifi w Arrcos was on the

Worth a try
Course had been recommended to us and had a great price to try. Pace was good but a few of the greens are a substantial hike from cart path for folks with arthritic knees, but overall fun track, lots of water and bunkers create a shot challenge.

Pace of play
Once again I played there. First time over 5 hours. Friday they said it was wide open. Played and waited all holes in 4.5 hours. No ranger and there excuses about it are laughable.. never again

Second time playing SS. First time 5 + hours. But it was in season and kinda expected but still too long. Second time 4 1/2 hours. Was told that the coarse was wide open. I blame the groups in front that just didn't have a clue. But I highly recommend getting a ranger that is willing to do there job!!! Fool me once...fool me twice...you get it!! Stay away it's just not worth it!!!

Tough course
Course is in ok shape but many brown spots on fairways. Fairways are cut really short. Was hard for me to sweep the ball-dont like taking divots.

Course was in horrible shape...I don't know how they can stay in business...my last time playing here...
Tired old Track
Fairways and overall condition no good for $100. Non-level tee box, inconsistent fairways grass.....just not in good condition. Even though "winter" not this time of year, I would play winter rules here or just cut the price and list it as any old muni with no maintenance budget. I would be pleased and have a completely different review if $30 or $40 including cart.
Save your money
Awful course both in condition and layout. Wouldn’t recommend wasting your money or time. You won’t get either back. Typical trash ARCIS course.

Not sure when you played "last year"...We are in our transition to full bermuda from the winter. Once we get higher temps the bermuda should pop! But yes we clearly have had some issues with course conditions, we are working hard to get the course back! We hope you will give it another go in the future.
