Painted Mountain Golf Club
About
The Painted Mountain Golf Club is a challenging desert-style course with a variety of different tees to accommodate every age group and skill level. The course offers a lengthier challenge from the first hole, a par-5 dogleg right, to the last, which requires an approach shot over water in order to reach the green. The Painted Mountain Golf Club, in addition to the course, is also home to the John Jacob's Golf School.

Golfer Reviews
Poor fairways, hard as rocks
The course was in need of watering. Bare spots in most fairways, the greens were very hard and little grass. The fairways were mostly hard as rocks.
Great courses for price
The only negative is there were so many old hole location scars on the greens. Some as much as 1/4 inch below green surface.
Fun course VERY DRY conditions.
I play this course regularly and typically it’s in great shape but there were a lot of dry spots in the fairways and on the green
Affordable pricing and nice course
Very affordable golf course for Phoenix area. Staff was great and course was okay but had some issues probably because of weather. I would play there again.
Needs a lot of work.
The course needs some major work to improve the fairways and rough. There is too much bare ground even on fairways. The bunkers need some sand. The greens were fine.
Okay track
Not a long course being a par 70. Does have 4 par 5’’s. Fairways and greens were fine. Little rougher if you got off the fairway. Okay to play and the price wasn’t bad for this time of year. Italian restaurant at the course was excellent for lunch after the round.

The course is a short fun course. The shape was good.
