About
The Palmer Course at Wildfire Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course designed by Arnold Palmer and built in 1997. The par-72 golf course measures 7,145 yards from the tournament tees. "I enjoy designing golf courses that celebrate the sheer fun of golf," Palmer said about this course, "and Wildfire is exactly that."
The Bermuda grass Palmer Course at Wildfire Golf Club is one of two championship courses at the club. It features a GPS option that offers golfers detailed mapping of the Faldo and Palmer courses, precise yardages for tee shots and approach shots to the greens, and the chance to order breakfast and lunch from the golf cart. Additional features include communication with the golf shop, a CBS Sportsline ticker with all scores 24 hours a day, and the leader board for tournaments. Its sibling, the Faldo golf course, also features the system.

What a great experience
Didn’t expect to play 18 holes in 3 hours but I did it. Only saw 2 other groups that were out enjoying the course. Pace of play was great. Outside service staff made sure my day flowed and I got to play all 18 in a timely manner. Easy check in. Greens were actually quite amazing, fairways and tee boxes were great. I will be back soon.
Course is FUN!!
If it wan not 100+ out there the course would be PERFECT! layouts amazing, ton of bunkers, and slow greens. Looking forward to coming back when the greens are up to speed.
Always a great experience
Played Ocotillo yesterday and wildfire today. No comparison in condition or service. Marriott knows how to run a course and accommodate people. Ice and water on the carts and on the first tee, friendly staff, great gold course. One of my favorites, just a little pricey.

Finished round on a beautiful rainy day in less than 3 hours. Loved it all.
Always in great shape and pace is always right on. Love this facility.
Vacation
Great layout and staff. Played after aeration but greens still rolled true. Pro shop said the course would be back to peak shape in about a week. Overall great experience.
Beautiful Course
Wildfire was beautiful! They had just aerated the greens however, so the greens were not in great shape. The club house employees stated that Golfnow was supposed to have that stated on the website, which was not the case. Not a big deal because they only charged $39/golfer rather than the $125/ golfer as stated on Golfnow due to the aeration.
I highly recommend this course.
Best course in Scottsdale
Wildfire Palmer is easily one of the best courses in Phoenix/Scottsdale. Always in great condition with a great staff. The course is extremely fair and a great experience for golfers of all levels. I just wish it wasn't so expensive in peak season - but that's a consequence of a great course in the valley

The people at the Wildfire Golf course are always courteous and eager to assist. The golf course was amazingly well taken care of.
