About
The Palmer Course at Wildfire Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course designed by Arnold Palmer and built in 1997. The par-72 golf course measures 7,145 yards from the tournament tees. "I enjoy designing golf courses that celebrate the sheer fun of golf," Palmer said about this course, "and Wildfire is exactly that."
The Bermuda grass Palmer Course at Wildfire Golf Club is one of two championship courses at the club. It features a GPS option that offers golfers detailed mapping of the Faldo and Palmer courses, precise yardages for tee shots and approach shots to the greens, and the chance to order breakfast and lunch from the golf cart. Additional features include communication with the golf shop, a CBS Sportsline ticker with all scores 24 hours a day, and the leader board for tournaments. Its sibling, the Faldo golf course, also features the system.

Great course with really fast greens. Holes were fair. Some Sand traps were rather hard and packed
Beautiful Course
What a beautiful course. Fairways and greens are excellent. Course layout is very challenging. Staff is informative and friendly.
Greens still recovering
Greens were thin and fast. They look like they are still recovering from aeration. The Range was closed for overseeding. Fairways were wet.
Great experience
Greens were just right. The Course was in great shape for October play, staff great, beautiful weather - no complaints, pure enjoyment.
A hot day at the Palmer course!
My wife and I played the Palmer course and enjoyed the experience overall. Unfortunately the driving range was closed for overseeing, so heading to the first tee without a warm up was difficult for us.
Course conditions were excellent. Greens were fast and true. The temperature was around 100F so the light breeze was appreciated. Definitely needed to stay hydrated! Pace of play was excellent and we finished in well under 4 hours (the expected pace is 4 hours 10 minutes).

course kept in great shape
The driving range was closed for over-seeding. The Palmer Course was in very good condition. The greens were great providing a true roll and nice speed.
Like my own private course today!
Booked thru GolfNow so I didn't pay the $110 listed. As a single they made sure I had my own cart (covid) which was comforting. When I got there I informed the starter I was willing to go early since I didn't know the group I was paired with. I was able to tee off 35 minutes early and after twosome on #2 waved me thru i sailed around the course in tight at 2 hrs. Fairways, greens and tees were in great shape. Never hit a bunker so can't describe them (obviously I didn't play Faldo course).
Haven't played here in awhile but will certainly return.
Very nice course
Great course, nice layout, great condition. ...just way over priced. Can find much better values other places in the valley. Paid 92.00 +taxes and fees on golf now for a 2:00pm weekday tee time....that's really high priced.

Another Happy Day On The Course.
FIRST TIME PLAYING THE PALMER COURSE AT WILDFIRE. NICE TEE BOXES, FAIRWAYS WERE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE, WONDERFUL SAND IN THE TRAPS , THE GREENS WERE A LITTLE BUMPY ,BUT ROLLED TRUE. THERE WERE SOME NICE BLIND TEE SHOTS AND UNGULATED GREENS. LOTS OF QUAIL, RABBITS AND A FEW ROADRUNNERS.NICE SHADE. NICE TRACK
Very fair landing areas but greens are well protected
Course was great and pace of play was excellent. I didn’t like the hole setup due to the Coronavirus as much as some of the other courses. The holes were sticking out of the ground. All other courses you could fall in at least an inch
