About
The Palmer Course at Wildfire Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course designed by Arnold Palmer and built in 1997. The par-72 golf course measures 7,145 yards from the tournament tees. "I enjoy designing golf courses that celebrate the sheer fun of golf," Palmer said about this course, "and Wildfire is exactly that."
The Bermuda grass Palmer Course at Wildfire Golf Club is one of two championship courses at the club. It features a GPS option that offers golfers detailed mapping of the Faldo and Palmer courses, precise yardages for tee shots and approach shots to the greens, and the chance to order breakfast and lunch from the golf cart. Additional features include communication with the golf shop, a CBS Sportsline ticker with all scores 24 hours a day, and the leader board for tournaments. Its sibling, the Faldo golf course, also features the system.

Very fair landing areas but greens are well protected
Course was great and pace of play was excellent. I didn’t like the hole setup due to the Coronavirus as much as some of the other courses. The holes were sticking out of the ground. All other courses you could fall in at least an inch
Too expensive!
Good course! Conditions and layout were excellent but it cost too much!
Due to Cvirus amenities were closed. Certainly understandable.
Great condition
Annual rd.atwildfire at price that was reasonable. As always in great shape as you would expect from a course of the calibre.. nice layout with some challenging tee shots. Greens also had a lot of slope which was tough but fair. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good range as well
Palmer course
The course was in great condition. Teeboxes and fairways were so good it almost looked like it was fake turf. The greens were also in superb shape and the ball rolled true. All in all a very nice course.
Afternoon play. 18 holes in under three hours!
Social distancing at its best when you play by yourself and very few on the course.
Great course.
Great course and friendly staff. Played on a Tuesday afternoon with my 4 yr old son and had no issues. Great place to take kids with their Kids-Play-Free-After-3 (with paying adult) program, including free rental clubs for kids. Only negative I could say is the drive in could use better information as you have to go through a ticketed gate to park before finding your way to the clubhouse.
Always Great
I have reviewed this course before. One of two courses at Wildfire, it is the ‘tamer ‘ of the two. With more traditional bunkering and a more straightforward layout, it affords the average player a more manageable course as compared to Faldo—the other course. Both are great courses, always in great shape.
Excellent
What a great course. Greens were excellent and ran true. Fairways were in nice shape. The conditions were windy which made the course a little harder.
Nice course staff friendly for the most part one of minor staff complained about towel not put were he wanted when we were crossing over.
Given the current corona virus, staff at the bag drop should not be spitting on the ground. It is always unpleasant, but especially unacceptable at this time.
