Palmer Course at Wildfire Golf Club at Desert Ridge

Perfect weather. Early start at 7:30. Our twosome never saw another golfer. Could have finished in 3 hrs if we'd wanted

The course was in good condition and after playing through a foursome on the 6th hole we finished in <3:30. Course is in very good shape, greens of moderate speed. The course is a bit of a resort course and therefore not overly difficult. In my opinion #9 is a very long par 4, not a par 5.

The only negative I have is the staff...there was no one there to unload our clubs so we did it ourselves. Finally one guy showed up and was pretty rude. An unfortunate event that left a sour taste.

Good layout, great condition of the course. Wide fairways and relatively large greens. A good score can be had here. So in other words, it was a very enjoyable course, but a bit of a "resort course" feel, aimed to have you like it by shooting a low score (which I did by personal standards). On the other hand, this course could be enjoyed by both low or high handicap golfers.

When your wife says, "I love this course" you know you found a real gem. It was great to see this course back into what I consider to be a more affordable area again. It has been a few years but I have and will continue to recommend this course going forward. The Palmer Course was in great condition and we can't wait to play the Faldo on Wednesday! Highly recommend playing bot!

We played the Palmer course. This is a great place to play golf. Excellent condition. The greens are quite fast, but putt very true and fair. Several tee boxes to choose from to match your game. Highly recommend playing here.

Course was in great shape and the greens were rolling very nicely. Some challenging putts out there.

Typical Palmer course: interesting layout; challenging; fair; most importantly, fun.

You will always be treated well and this course has always been in great shape.

It is a very nice course, part of J.W Marriott resort. The staff was outstanding, the course is in very good shape. It is a good course for intermediate to single digit handicap golfers. Would play again when we return to Scottsdale

I had 2 vouchers from 2 years prior but expired.I had pretty bad back problems and couldn't play for sometimes. When I called and ask that if they can honor and they never said "no" to me- just had some discussion with course Pro, told me that they might charge me $50 (you kidding me- they don't have to do that at all and ask to pay full price. How nice of them!)

When I arrived on 27th and they find out that is my Bday they charge me nothing and honored second voucher till end of the year!

This is the way to run business! They maid my 55th much sweeter! Thank you everyone who I talked to!!

I had out of town guest and it was a great treat for them and me.

First, before you play, everyone appears helpful and eager to make your day special. We wanted to play just as a 2-some and they allowed us, forturnately not overly busy that morning.

Speed of play could always be faster, but after 12 holes the group in front finally picked it up, or just picked up!!!!!

Rangers were visible and helpful.

Refresehments on the course were great $$$$ and often. Course was excellent condition.

After round amenities in the bar very good, great service and options. Enjoy.

Really nice last minute decision. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The course was busy, it's January in Phoenix but the pace was good. Fairways and greens were in beautiful condition. I'd love to play this course two days in a row....call one day practice!

The course was in great shape with fast true greens and well maintained tee-offs. The layout is typical desert course with no standout holes. All in all a good track but there are better.

The Palmer Course at Wildfire is in fantastic condition! Second time playing, but last time was at least 7 years ago. Very fair test. Greens are pure and roll well...maybe even a little on the slow side for a Scottsdale course after over-seeding. Speed was between that of a fast Grayhawk and a slow summer level. Pace was great. Finished in a little over 4 hours, but the couple we played with could play...makes a difference.

Well done Wildfire staff. Only nit-picky thing was a Back 9 start, but not big deal at all.

Booking a tee time on their web site was $59.00 less than calling the club house directly. I live near the course and had just called over to book for that same day. I was told it would cost more if booked on the phone rather than the web. (same actual tee time)
Strange rule as she did have me on the phone and I was ready to book. They were willing to take the risk that I might just go to some other course because NOW I had to go back to the site.. It is a great facility but there is room for improvement on the Customer Service (through my eyes)

Course was in good condition, greens held shots and putts rolled true. Fairways were also in good condition.

A real fun course to play , greens were quick , fairways were in good shape , played with a couple of members and had a great day....thank you....will return.......
