I read the reviews going into the round
And its exactly what I expected. Leaving 4 stars, only to boost the ratings a little bit. I can see that theyre trying to restore it. Im not from around here but I read about the history and it has such a fun layout. Could really be a nice executive course again one day. Its a perfect course if youre new to golf and the price is fair for AZ golf. I hope to return in a few years and see its improved even more. Great views as well I must say.
Good Value but course needs more work
Front 9 Pond was lackluster and some of the green conditions were sub-par. Back 9 water and space nicer. Friendly staff and relaxing play. Would play again.
Good Learning Course...
This course is a good and reasonably priced course for beginners like myself to get some practice on. I've been twice and this 2nd time playing there I did much better using and getting practice with my irons on the shorter holes. I'll definitely go back to work on my short game more especially since it's an affordable rate as well.
Lack of Water to drink
WHAT A SAME?
You have a wonderful executive course but to fail to do two things:
Water and maintain your bumpy unputtable greens which make it. Impossible to hit a straight putt
Also, you don't have a drinking fountain at the pro shop and have no water on the course. Call the City and they said it was an ordinance / that you had to provide water to customers.
Nice course for the money
The course is great for working on your short game. Greens were bumpy on the front, better on the back.
Course Getting Better!
Tee and fairways were in good shape: Very green and lush. Greens were a bit spotty and in need of water. The lakes were being filled with water and that is a good sign. GPK said she wanted to come back and play again, so we will. We suggested they get some food truck out there until the clubhouse/pro shop is built.
Sandy Greens
This course could be a really nice hidden gem. The tee boxes were nicer than the greens but must have just laid some sand down. A lot of water comes into play but was a fun course and hope this continues to get better.

it would be a fun course to play if the greens were maintained. We won't be back unless they are better taken care of
Worth it
Fantastic place to play for the money, Course was in pretty good shape. I agree with a lot of the reviews, it's not perfect, but for the price, Heck Ya, if i didn't live 40min away I would become a member there in less than a heartbeat.
Backed up
So backed up. Took us 4-1/2 hours to get 14 holes and then we gave up and left early
