About
Paradise Valley Golf Course is an 18-hole public course designed by Jeff Hardin and built in 1986. The par-61 golf course is open year-round and measures 4,082 yards from the championship tees.
The Paradise Valley Golf Course has five par-4 holes and a single par-5, the ninth, which measures 475 yards; then you get to the back nine, where two lakes come into play.

Not a course u would refer your friends to play.
Only reason to play this course is if you are a total beginner. The greens had weeds on them. No putt was safe! Lol. Very confusing layout. Must hunt for the next hole to tee off on.... Too confusing for the average person..no signs to point the way. Muddy conditions and we were given pull carts. Not fun. They did not have enough motorized carts on the course. Definitely not the average experience in Phoenix Arizona. This course must rate as one of the lowest in the state of Az. True, it was cheap as it should've been. So, u get what u pay for I guess.
Course was in very bad shape from greens, to fairways, to steps to tee boxes, deep holes in and around cart paths, blowing dust from off fairways area. Course should be sold to someone who cares.
Course maintenance
This course Need,s to be better taken care of. The greens were bumpy with some sort of crabgrass. The fairways had puddles in the middle. The clubhouse guy was yelling at people over the microphone.
Okay for practicing
The condition of the fairways and green was poor. Many bald spots in the fairways. the greens were exceedingly dry and had invasive grasses that made putting uneven and unpredictable.
The Greens have seen better days.
If you want to work on your putting this is definitely not the greens for you to do that.
Improving
Fairways at much improved since last year.
The greens still need work. Bumpy and weedy.
Course needs work
Greens are in terrible shape, lumpy with weeds. Putts bump along. zero sand in sand traps, so you are hitting off dirt in sand traps. It’s a nice layout for beginners, just poorly maintained.
Poor condition.
Greens are terrible. Chips are stopped by the clumpy grass around the greens.
Paradise Valley golf course easy on the wallet
If you are a very laid back, casual golfer this course is for you!! The greens are not great, pretty bumpy but I enjoy playing here. It’s not too serious but everyone is respectful still.
I’ve played here often.
Value beats expectations
This affordable neighborhood course has enough contour and trees to make you forget how flat the area is. The trees and layout kept me out of danger from the novice golfers (who are comfortable on this course), which is impressive since this course has several par 4's that beg you to "go for it" off the tee.
Fun, relaxing, affordable; this course will definitely be part of my winter rotation.
