Paradise Valley
The course is a great way to practice your short game. There is also the odd long hole.
The course was overly crowded and the pro shop was over run.. We has to wait at each hole.
The course was reasonably groomed, but the greens wer bare with patches of crab grass. If the county spent a bit of money, it could be a lot better.
Play for value
This course is good to play in the winter when the rates here go sky high. The greens are terrible as are the bunkers but the fairways are in good shape.
Disappointed Reservation!!!
I was unable to play because of covid. When I went to get a refund, I see there are no refunds and you have to reschedule. I was unable to do that since your website would not let not me or give me info on how to reschedule. I am disappointed that I ate the $58 and now may not use your website again, unless you have a solution. I am eager to here your reply!
Condition of course
There is no grass on the greens or san in the bunkers. It’s a shame they have let this course get so bad, years ago it was a decent course.
Course needs work
This course is in pretty bad shape. Greens are overrun with different kinds of grass making putting difficult to impossible. The fairways are mostly ok but everywhere else the surfaces are just rock hard dirt.
Probably needs to be closed for a year and rehabilitated.
Our biggest complaint regards the greens - "grays" should be more appropriate. Whatever it was it wasn't grass and it played lightening fast. Too bad since the staff has been trying to upgrade the course. However the price was right.
Group of Employees fought group of golfers in the parking lot
Tee’d off 30 minutes late and couldn’t fit in 18 because there were no carts being turned around while the guy in the pro shop and the employees turning around carts were fist fighting a group of golfers in the parking lot. When we finally got going the course was in terrible condition. Didn’t expect much from the course because of the price, but the greens were covered in weeds which made it impossible to putt.
Paradise Valley
The condition of the greens was bad. Fairways were just average and the tee boxes fairly good. the cart paths were a muddy mess. Overall, the green fee is not justified by the condition of the course.
Get what you pay for
For 24 bucks with a cart for nine holes, you can’t expect much. If I were in a hurry or looking for a challenge, I’d feel differently. But, for taking my two novice teenagers, it was perfect.
Note - no food outside of snacks when we played. Drinks are provided at the front and if busy, expect to wait. Also good to play with pink or yellow balls as the driving range spills over onto several holes.
Good length executive course
2 par 5's, 4 par 4's, 12 par 3's - if my memory serves me well. Nice hole layouts, great for iron and chipping work. Pace can challenge you patience this time of year, especially weekends. Price is right!
They need help
1/3 of the greens were dirt and had poanna grass popping up and caused the ball to roll uneven and bumpy. Course overall in bad to terrible shape. Won’t play there again at any price.
