Best Greens In The Valley = a joy to putt on! Fun layout with enough dog-legs and lakes to make it interesting. This executive course has 6 par 4s that are well-bunkered to provide a good skills test. Play the Twilight Special for the best rate. We buy a pizza at Zeeks Pizza at 48th and Warner, bring it with and are set for the day. New owners have done a good restoring this course and have been planting more trees which will help the the layout and increase the shade. Highly recommend this course.

Played this course with an 11am Tee time. The driving range had ample space, green grass that wasn’t chopped up, a big practice putting green with perfect grass as well.

The pace of play was perfect. Not too many people out on the course and a 3some was able to finish in 3.5 hrs!

The fairway were impeccable! SO green, not patchy areas at all. Between fairways and holes, did have some areas of dirt, but I’m sure that will be fixed as time goes on. The grounds keepers did a very good job with each hole and fairway and green. Bunkers were sandy and never rock hard like a lot of higher priced courses.

Greens did have some plugs from players not repairing their own markings which was not the courses fault. So I did my fair share of fixing. Greens were very forgiving and yet challenging as well. The water on the course makes the course a good challenge as well.

I highly recommend this course, especially for how manicured it is! This course will be a go to since I live very close to it!

"The Lakes" is a fantastic course, and the lake really makes it special. It is strategically placed, adding both beauty and challenge to the game. The water is crystal clear, and I even spotted some cool wildlife around it. It definitely makes you think twice about your club selection!

This is a perfect place to work on par 3s with other holes also. Also has been in great condition as usual.

The Lakes is an awesome course to play by yourself or with a group of friends. The course layout is enjoyable while still challenging you on multiple holes. The condition of the course is great right now, and it is some of the best value you can get for golf right now in Arizona!

I have played this course many times and it is by far in the best shape right now. Great value and great golf.

They have really upped their game this season. Greens are great and can't beat the price

I played this course a while back with my buddy and it was no where near the conditions it’s in today. Absolutely amazing what they’ve done to this course in the past 6 months. Fairways are growing in and filling which was a huge issue prior, greens are rolling super solid and looking very luscious. Absolutely give this course a shot when in the area and are wanting a chill round of golf.

If you haven’t been to The Lakes in awhile you should give it a shot… the course has improved A LOT in the past few months. It’s only getting better and the rates are more than fair compared to other courses in the valley. $100 rounds no thanks! The Lakes only charges $59 on the weekends and they have a killer Twilight special 7-days a week for $25!

Layout is great, 20 years ago it was like a mini Augusta. If you are a beginner it’s a great place to learn. Go all in, spend some money fixing the property. Golf is booming, you can double your rates.

Perfect place to practice your irons chipping and putting.

If you just bought a few clubs from Goodwill & maybe have gone to the range once or twice, this course is for you. Easy course in not very good shape. You can walk or ride. Expect slow play, atleast on weekends. Golf shop is about a 30 sq foot trailer. Bev cart has no hard alcohol, ice or coolers. No restaurant or bar here either. There was a guy with a hot dog stand on the 10th tee box; kinda cool. Staff was friendly enough. I think they all understand what kind of a course they work at.

Fun course, great value. It isn't Pebble Beach but the price was low. Nice design but course was not well maintained.

Everyone from check-in to the cart drop where friendly. Like the new tee-boxes on 10 and 18. Greens are very nice 👍

Trying to support this course but today was not good . Cart guy needs to go rude as they come . Check was fine the other guy in the office was fine .

Just don’t feel great paying to play but being treated like I’m asking to much to ask which cart can I grab and being yelled at .
