The Lakes At Ahwatukee

I played here about 2 months ago. Conditions seemed to have gotten worse since then. May be due to summer temps. Overall a decent short course for a quick round of golf. Not the prettiest coarse by any means and grass is a bit rough now.

Best Greens In The Valley: Lush and roll true. Fairway needs some water but are playable. Small trees have been planted but many more are needed. There 6 par 4 holes and they are challenging enough to make the round interesting. The 6 water holes that demand attention and are laid out very well. Good value for the money

Great practice course with quick greens. Nothing fancy, just value for money golf. Lady golfers beware, there are only portapottys.

Love this course and it’s an awesome deal! The greens are in great condition. Tee boxes could be flatter but it’s a great place

After being closed for several years, this course reopened but just barely. There is a trailer for Pro Shop which sells soda and beer but apparently no other snacks. There are no real bathrooms but just portable toilets.

The fairways are bare and shaggy and the greens putt at about a one on the stimp meter. Unless you're a beginner and don't know any better, I would say don't play this course.

Overall a very nice course. Some of the fairways were a little rough, but the greens were superb. Driving range was interesting. Only two drawbacks for me were the beer cart only takes card (no cash), and the crazy lady offering people massages near the driving range. She was harmless, but pushy and annoying. We had fun playing and will probably play again in the future.

Fun little course, greens are good, yardage markers on the par 4s would be a nice addition, bushnell Phantom does not work there.

Good greens; windy conditions made for a good day. The weather could not be controlled.

Fun little par 3 course that I like playing to get some iron work in. You won't find better value anywhere in the valley this time of year. Some patchy areas in the fairways and a decent amount of water but nothing extreme. Greens are actually in great condition. Definitely recommend if you are just looking to get a quick 18 holes in.

Everything was great except being made aware that the greens had just been aerated.

Tee boxes are ok, greens good , course needs yardage markers for those who do not have range finders.

Most tees boxes were acceptable and level. Fairways were mostly green but had significant brown/bare spots. Greens were generally OK with few bare spots or problems. Course is better than it was 5 years ago but not back to the standard that made it one of the best American executive courses. Trees are being planted money looks like it is being spent to green things up. There is water in the lakes which is a good sign. Decent value for the $25 spent. Good course to practice your irons and a great place to take beginners. Highly recommend you stop at Zeke's Pizza at 48th and Warner and bring a pizza to the course!

The course is a little rough around the edges. On an executive style golf course with mostly par 3 holes the greens are the most important part and these greens are tricky but consistent and in fantastic condition. A real challenge! Also very friendly staff.

Shad a 3:03 booked and made it about 30 min early. Got all my things together, paid for the round and checked in. Today the grumpy lady was there which is whatever reslly. Having someone with such a bad mood towards you being the one sending everyone off was not ideal but I think she just dislikes me and my friend I play with. Even though we play several rounds there each month, maybe time to move on? Well low and behold the gentleman who was in the clubhouse checking golfers in was now out receiving the carts and had over 9000 aura with no aura farming needed. And the new cart girl that was out there is a rocket, will be back for the cheap golf.

Overall average course conditions fairways need work and greens a bit on the uneven cut effecting putting.

Staff friendly and inviting and we moved through our 18 holes at a quick pace. I would play the course again.
