Arizona Grand Resort

A beautiful course with interesting challenges with the water. There was one hole that had 3 tiers elevations to get the green. A nice and challenging touch.

I wanted to be able to play a nearby course to where we were vacationing in the morning. There were certainly nicer courses close by but more expensive and afternoon teetimes. The reviews of this course I read were varied, but mostly positive. My first impressions of this resort and course were that it was going to be extremely nice. After playing, I would share that the overall feel was that it is a nice resort but a mediocre golf course. Most of the bunkers needed significant improvement and were extremely shallow. The course was indeed challenging, however, and I wasn’t in the greatest golfers shape. One of the highlights was the GPS variability throughout the entire 18 holes of each golf cart. Greens could use some extra manicuring. Also, the driving range is not a range but only a net some 500 yards from hole #1. The chipping area is nowhere near the “net” and the pitting green is small but only feet away from #1 tee box. Staff was phenomenal and this made it enjoyable enough to return (someday). Most of all, it enjoyed the day paying and playing with m son and uncle. (I hope this is helpful)

Great service, challenging course. Putting greens were a little wonky especially on the first few holes. Beautiful area with some interesting views and terrain. I would come back.

It appears as though AZ Grand no longer cares about the quality or care of the golf course. For this time of year, it should be in excellent condition. Instead, it already looks like mid-June quality. AZ Grand raised the prices for everything, but forgot to raise the quality along with those greedy changes. This course is no longer worth the time or money. Sad.

My Son and I were the 4th group out yesterday morning and it was perfect! From the quick start to the pace of play and the welcoming staff, we made another great memory thanks to the Arizona Grand experience!!!

This was the first time I had played this course since it was Phantom Horse, so it was fun seeing the new layout. But it was also great to see the familiar holes. This course is quite challenging in places, but is also very fair in others. I only think hole 17 was unnecessarily brutal because of the pin placement the day I went, otherwise it was a very pleasant experience. I just wish it was a bit less to play, but that’s Arizona winter golf.

Great day at a Great course, but way too many tee times jammed close together. Marshall's did what they could,but with the amount of people it was almost 6 hours

Wouldn’t pay full rack rate for this course. Fairways and greens were a little sparse in places. Ball runs a mile. Greens were really fast. Pace of play was really slow. (Over 4 1/2 hours)

We booked a twilight round which said on the website "sunset" was closing time. The marshal said it was 5:15pm. I told him all three websites i looked up said sunset was 5:30. He ignored me. He met us at the 10th hole at 5:10 before we could tee off and said we were done. I told him there was still enough light for us to get 2 more holes in and he declined. As we headed in, there were at least 3 other groups that were playing still and he didn't nearly harass them as much as he did us likely because they were in their 50's. This is the second time this has happened and the last time I'll be playing there.

Course is one of my favorites view and back nine is amazing but construction in the course was confusing and we didn’t know it was going on

Well worth the online rate, great pace of play and course was on solid shape.. Will play again
