OK course. Marshall could have been nicer however.

We started at 2:40 and got through mid 15 holes before the Marshall came, literally picked our ball up right before the green and told us to get out. At that point we still had daylight left, I get that they don’t want unsafe golf in the dark but they could be way nicer than they were. However the course was ok and the valet guys who held our rental clubs were the one of the nicest people.

Very nice course, yet difficult

The course looks nice, in great condition, however, if you dont like playing blind tee shots or approach shots this isnt the course for you. Im also not a big fan of courses that have too many hills and slopes all over the fairway. A few too many times I'd hit a great tee shot only to be punished with a bad lie on a slope. Im on vacation not a tournament, i don't feel like struggling during my round.

Course is in great shape, but it’s basically cart path only.

Course conditions were great. Greens had a few spots and some tee boxes were a little beat up but great overall. Only complaint was that basically the entire course was roped off making it essentially cart path only.

Course in good shape

Everything was great, greens were in best condition I've seen in years but the tee blocks need some major work. Many had hardly any grass...

Bind spots galore

Great job on the rehab, played 2 months ago and almost asked for my money back--- not today! Wow, super wide forgiving fairways, true rolling greens. Tee boxes could use some attention but overall nice tract!

Not enjoyable initial round.

Cramp start in cart preparation and flow to and off first tee. Overall conditions aren't that favorable to play the ball down and score or have fun on any initial round. Playing with some frequency might change the overall experience but I don’t believe I’ll be back as the $78 dollar hot deal fee brought little value. Carts are old and the two nines don’t match up and the vista’s are not that impressive and to gimmick/goofy holes, sorry. Fair green fee is 45-55$ range or less.

The Tale of Two Nines

Nice staff and very efficient in getting groups started on time. The front is more traditional and the back 9 is very much a desert course. After the first couple of holes that are close to the highway, the rest are peaceful and low noise. The pace of play was nice and the greens were in great shape. A couple of the tee boxes were kind of rough but as a resort course I am sure it gets a lot of play and I was impressed with the overall condition. I would come back for sure.

Slow! No Marshalll

Unfortunately, they had very little help the day I played. Only a starter and on guy at Checkin. I felt sorry for them because they were working hard. Anyhoo, the group in front of us that they were long ball hitters and they just sprayed the ball. AND, they seemed to be playing 2 balls off the tee EVERYTIME. So, we waited for them, A LONG TIME ON EVERY HOLE. I think if there had been a Marshall, that would have helped considerably.

Arizona Grand Golf Course

Course staff was very friendly and helpful.

Course did lab a full driving range.

Carts were state of the art with GPS.

Course conditions were good, tee boxes could have been in better shape. Last hole was in need of TLC and drying out.

Interesting Layout

We enjoyed playing Arizona Grand. The course is "shoe-horned" between homes and highways. The GPS provided on each cart helped immensely with several blind shots. The greens were only in average condition. Given the shortage of available daily fee courses we would return here.

Average condition, super slow pace of play

I thought that by getting an earlier AM tee time I'd be able to get through 18 in about 4... nope. 2:30 to 2:45 at the turn. Didn't finish the full 18 because I needed to leave.

I suppose this is expected leading up to the WMO. However, I wouldn't pay more than $70 if I were to do it again.

Definitely a course that requires local knowledge.

Course knowledge is super important here. Lots of blind shots. Lots of target lay ups. I believe the second go around on this course would result in most players shooting 5-6 strokes better. The course was fun, a bit goofy on the back nine. Course conditions weren’t good. Shaggy greens. Bunkers not raked. Don’t feel it was worth $107. Would have been more comfortable with a price or $70. Our cart was also super dirty all over. Had the highest priced beverage cart canned drinks of all the courses we played.$10-$12 plus tax for any canned drink. Probably wouldn’t go back unless it was a Hot Deal of some sort.
