Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Estates Course
About
Some consider the Estates course (formerly known as Adobe golf course) at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to be grand and stately, a prime example of golf course design in the pre-modern era, combining rare beauty with solid trickery. It makes for a round both relaxing and challenging played on lush 50-year-old fairways, with a spacious layout, reminding on of golf as it ought to be played: the glory days when graphite went into pencils and balls were only white.
The Adobe golf course at the Arizona Golf Club measures 6,430 yards from the white tees and comes in at par-71.
Due to the mild Arizona winters, the Adobe Golf Course at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is open year-round.

Nice Course
Course was in nice shape and fun to play. Bermuda rough is always gnarly so stay on the fairways. Had a foursome in front of us that was rather slow but to be expected at a course that caters to an older customer.
Over priced
Booked a tee time in the afternoon with 4 hours until sunset. The course booked us behind a youth tournament without notice which delayed our group from actually teeing off by about 30 minutes. Due to the pace of play only was able to play 10 holes before it was dark and we were forced to return our carts. The price of the tee time should have been properly discounted as we only got to play a half round but paid in full. As well, the layout if basically on top of each other the whole time with balls coming from all directions. Would not play again for the price and layout.
Not that great
This was our first time playing Biltmore. Had played 8 other courses on our visit to the area. This course is disorganized as compared with others. No one really instructs you where anything is located. On course toilets were closed. The course is very tightly laid out. Tee boxes are sometimes right next to the previous green, putting you in danger of being hit by an errant approach. Greens are VERY slow, so different from all the other courses hereand quite frustrating. Will not return
Good first impression
First time playing the course. Staff was friendly and helpful. Course was well maintained and played well. Plan on coming back again.
The greens have improved
For years, the knock on The Arizona Biltmore had always been that the greens were slow and a little rough. In fact, whenever we encountered another course with slow greens, we referred to them as "Biltmore slow." But I've played here twice in the last week and the greens have vastly improved. Though they're still not the fastest greens in town, they're much improved. And the location can't be beat.
Community Course
Feels and plays like a community course. Was surprised because the Biltmore has a great name. There are no balls at the driving range. You have to pay for buckets of balls at the pro shop, and carry them to the range. Range balls are not included with your round; it is separate, which is not typical of a private course or a country club. There was no attendant at the first hole to check in people or verify tee times. There were 3 groups ahead of us at our tee time and we had to wait 20 minutes before we teed off. The couple they assigned to play with us were not particularly friendly. There was a high school tournament this morning which we were not informed of until we arrived. Overall, I will elect to play at a more formal and organized club that includes free balls at the driving range. I would not say this feels like a proper golf club or course. I’ve played at community courses that feel more formal and organized.
