San Tan Highlands

This is a fun course, especially the back 9, but when we arrived we were informed that the driving range and practice putting green was closed for overseeding. There was no mention of this on the website or on GN when we booked our tee time.

We had an 8:42 am tee time and they had maintenance trucks and full sized tractors running all over the course while we golfed because they closed at 10 am to start the work.

All this and we found out that we paid $20 more per person than anyone that booked with short notice.

Please be better with communicating these events in the future!

They were getting ready to reseed the course, so the fairways, tee boxes and greens were in bad shape. Once they reopen the course it should be a great course. Hopefully they don't raise the rates so high the average guy won't be able to play.

Course is in great shape nice greens fantastic staff all around a great time

Nice layout….prefer back nine with super views. Staff were very friendly.

Bar staff was great to make us a snack before closing.

Foursome let us play through on #6….plain sailing after that. 3.5 hr round.

Only disappointment was no water stations on the course!! 103 degrees.

Have not played this course in many years. Did not know it had a name change. Used to be Johnson Ranch golf course. It has been upgraded nicely. Greens are perfect. Sand bunkers are still being redone. Some tee box’s on back nine are being reseeded. Club house very nice. Playing again this weekend with family fro out of town.

Rough needs to be cut, especially around the greens

Course was in great condition considering the heat and time of year. I live on the course and can see the effort put in on making it a more pleasurable experience. The course is definitely improving.

Great course. Good value for money. Pace of play slowed down in some places but we still finished in just about 4hrs. Course condition is good. Excellent views from couple of t-boxes.

Staff is very friendly. Shame the restaurant closes early, 🍺 🍻 is still available though.

Course was in great shape but greens were a little fuzzy

The course was in great shape, the greens were slow for the time of year, the front 9 is totally different from the back 9.

First time at this course other than the driving range a couple times. Only played the back 9 and the course was excellent in my opinion. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in such great shape that I was very impressed. Several of the holes had tee boxes that were being re-seeded and those naturally were the ones I would have liked to tee off from, but it didn’t concern me that much. I enjoyed the the course and will be retiring the future.
