Orange Tree Golf & Conference Resort
About
The course at the Orange Tree Golf Resort provides an excellent game of golf in a luxurious setting. The Parkland-style layout features fairways lined with mature trees, which not only enhance the natural beauty of the golf course but can also greatly affect shots. Four lakes are situated on the flat terrain of the course, providing water hazards that come into play on five holes. Sand bunkers also surround every green. Orange Tree Golf Resort's course finishes with its signature hole, where water cuts into the fairway and proceeds to run down the left side all the way to the green. It also requires accuracy on the approach shot in order to hit the small putting surface that is surrounded by tricky elements.

Not worth the price
I usually enjoy the course but the greens were terrible. Bare, bald and in serious need of some TLC. Pace was slow on the front but got better. Hate giving bad reviews
The Great Disappointed
We expected a much better course based on the website and price point. The curb appeal, pro shop, and restaurant were all promising. The practice area was a little sketchy, with many people practicing in close proximity, and some people using a driver practicing ahead of players using the mats. Up until then, things looked promising. The Pro Shop mentioned that we were playing at a "discounted" rate because of two questionable greens that were having overseeding issues. In reality, almost EVERY green had huge problems! And although that was the most noticeable disappointment, the disrepair was extensive from the tee-box to the green. The issues are related to poor greenskeeping, lack of ongoing investment, and shoddy management. I recommend avoiding this course for the coming couple of years because it'll take that long to get it back into shape, especially at the price point they're charging.
Worst condition in years
Unplayable greens on every other hole. Almost every green had dirt on it / around the pin.
No course condition notice until I already paid and checked out in, starter said there is “1 or 2 holes not up to our standards”.
He should have said there is 1 or 2 holes up to our standards.
No excuse to hide this information from your customers when you pay a premium rate for a diseased greens.
Poor shape for the money, very disappointed.
The course had a lot of greens in rough shape. I expected way more for $138 greens fee. Wow, it was knocked down to $130 because they were aware of the greens. The staff was nice, cashier, cart caddies, and cart vendor.
Overall good condition, But......
The driving range had mats to hit off. Detest mats.
Many of the greens had large bare spots. Seems like this was the same problem the last time I played here a year ago. Come on, let's get this fixed. Should charge less for a damaged course.
This “resort” needs beautifying
Fairways were in good shape; greens have some kind of disease/ bad shape.
They added gps screens on the carts but the cart was filthy. I had to ask an employee to wipe it down. If this resort wants to be consider a nice place or a real “resort” need to up your game. The rough is spotty no grass in most places.
Great park land course
Great course with the exception of a few greens that had a few problems when they were reseeded. We aren’t pros so we just moved our balls a few inches when putting. Also, the pricing was adjusted downward to compensate for the problem, so we felt that was fair.
Great staff, great practice area and great instructors.
Greens are in bad shape.
The greens have large sections of dead patches that are loose dirt. I did not see any disclosure of the condition of the greens prior to playing and no discounted greens fees.
The young man in the shop was very friendly and helpful.
Greens need help
Played golf with my boys and long time friend. My son got married there so sentimental round. Pace of play was great but greens were in HORRIBLE shape. Hard to justify the cost right now!
Poor Conditions
I have played this course several times in the past, was always decent course, not this time. Greens were severely damaged, not enjoyable at all
Greens bad
The course is in excellent shape, except for the greens, which were bare in some spots and with dirt/sand in others.
Spring Break trip
Course layout is great....nice fairways...tee boxes uneven and most greens have fungus damage..dry spots.
Most off course amenities closed in the afternoon..
Have to deal with one person bar staff....
Easy to deal with if the course was in better shape...
Not worth the 120+ green fees...it has been better
