Non-challenging quick course
Great for beginning players but also a great little course for a quick 9 to dial in your short game. A little expense for 9 holes but it's Arizona in the winter. Everything is expensive.
SweetP’s Fave
I have always loved Starfire, but, I grew up on the course, when it was known as Scottsdale country club. It’s a beautiful course in a gorgeous location, nothing better, but then I’m partial!
Nice Executive Course…
A great course for novices or anyone wanting to hone their short game. It was well maintained and had a good mixture of hole lengths and water hazards.
Great course for beginner
Easy course to play and recommend if you’re a beginner or just want to practice par 3 play
A GREAT 9 Hole Getaway
I was visiting town and found I had an afternoon free. Jumped on GolfNow and found this course. Quick and easy to book.
Arrived a little early and was met by the staff to grab my bag and cart it up. Went inside to a very friendly staff and check in. No hassles.
Grabbed a to go beer for the round and headed out. Hit a small bucket of balls and did some putting.
I got paired up with a father and his 2 older sons (college age). They immediately apologized saying the only play 1 or 2 times a year and were not very good.
It was fun to watch them bust on eachother for bad shots and errant golf balls. Fun group and I had enjoyed the round.
It played a little slower than expected, but it was the week between Christmas/New Years so kind of expected.
Will play here again next time I'm in town.
Loooved this course
In town for a horse show and wanted to get a quick game in and it was perfect timing and enjoyed the course
Fun 9 holes
Put a ball washer and club washer at the club house start....
I play both the long course and the short course year round. Each is challenging enough, yet accessible enough, to be enjoyed by golfers of all levels. The staff members in all categories, from the folks who greet you and put your clubs on a cart, to the marshals on the course who maintain the pace of play, are all friendly and helpful. I regular play several courses in the Phoenix Metro with friends, but my favorite is Starfire because of the staff there.
Nice little course
Nice quick little course TK work on your short game…..especially the 9 iron. Fairway is clean and the greens are in decent condition. Overall fun quick couple of hours
Had a Hole in One
#7, 95 yards first Hole in One for me! So exciting!
A fun course, doesn’t take too long.
Lots of slow seniors, but we had a good time and a nice lunch. Need a sand practice area!
