TPC Scottsdale has earned a host of honors, including a spot among the top three Arizona golf facilities for service and among the "Top 50 Golf and Resort Destinations in the World," the latter by no less than Conde Nast Traveler.
The Champions Course at TPC Scottsdale sits where the Desert Course did, but offers the thrills of golfing a new course, this one designed by architect Randy Heckenkemper, who did his best to fit the new golf course into the untouched desert land that surrounds it.
The Champions Course at TPC Scottsdale rivals its better-known sibling golf course, the Stadium Course, with all the good looks and good golf one might expect in the Scottsdale area.

Nice course. Everything was great except the construction the city was doing. Not the courses fault but would have been nice to get a discount for the inconvenience.

All was good...
We had a great time...and really enjoyed the course. The only negative, was some of the construction along the side of the fairways where they were digging out a new sewer line
Other than that, it was a really fun golf course.

Challenging desert-style course
My round was played on April 8th and the weather was superb. This was my 3rd time playing the Champions course and unfortunately my worst round due to shoulder injury, but enjoyed the beautiful course in any case. Only complaint was with the temporary construction barricades affecting several holes. Pace of play was a bit slow. Greens were smooth and fast.
