About
TPC Scottsdale has earned a host of honors, including a spot among the top three Arizona golf facilities for service and among the "Top 50 Golf and Resort Destinations in the World," the latter by no less than Conde Nast Traveler.
The Champions Course at TPC Scottsdale sits where the Desert Course did, but offers the thrills of golfing a new course, this one designed by architect Randy Heckenkemper, who did his best to fit the new golf course into the untouched desert land that surrounds it.
The Champions Course at TPC Scottsdale rivals its better-known sibling golf course, the Stadium Course, with all the good looks and good golf one might expect in the Scottsdale area.

Would recommend
Layout was good course was in good shape. Greens still had a little fertilizer on them but still rolled good. Staff was great very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and plan on playing again.
Good Course
The course conditions were great and the service was good but there was a group of 4 slowing down the pace of play, but otherwise the course was very fun and nice.
Fun, challenging course
The greens were very slow and bumpy, which I’m guessing is just a result of the time of year and maintenance schedule. But nonetheless, that is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5
Airport Ruins It
Constant stream of low flying private jets landing at adjacent airport. Awful.
Same as stadium, for half the cost
I’ve now played both the stadium course and the champions course, and you’re getting the same conditions for half the price. The stadium course is a neat experience and a bucket list item for most, but the courses are very comparable, especially in the heat of the summer. Champions is more generous offer the tee, and has less trouble than the stadium course, so most of us amateurs will appreciate that. The staff is very welcoming, and the practice facility is in great shape, even in the heat of summer. Must play if you’re in the area!
Great Course
Great course. Better value than the Stadium Course. One of my favorites.
Outstanding round
Awesome experience with great staff. It was extremely hot but there was water on every other hole. Greens were nice and the fairways were better. You won’t be disappointed!
Could Have Been Perfect
1st Time playing TPC Scottsdale. Check in was awesome, course conditions for July was great, course was fun. Staff was very friendly. But...pace of play was slow. A SLOW 4some was a few holes ahead of us. The marshal, nice enough guy, said it was a problem group, but did nothing to speed up play. Oh well, didn't ruin what was otherwise a great day of golf.

Great time as always,greens in great shape after summer over seeding. one of my favorite courses in the Valley.
Pace
Zero rangers!!!!
took 5.2 hours in 113 deg heat. Vast majority of the players need to be at the range not on the course. Have playing TPC for 6 years and this was the absolute worst.
